Technician
I know you're just answering WrenchWay's question of the month, so this isn't aimed at y'all personally, but I learned a long, long time ago, "You don't make friends in the shop." Flat rate is a cut throat business. Nearly every technician in the shop will stab you in the back for favor, hours, better work, or advantage. No one is trust worthy, so keep your head down, mind your own bay, and go home at the end of the day. Making friends in the shop is just giving ammunition to your betrayer. So, no, I'll never participate in after hours extra curricular activities with the work place. I'm there to earn a living, not to make friends. I think most shops know this because they haven't tried to do anything special. So, to Carr Chevrolet, good for you for having a different attitude in the BDC. Do your techs also participate?

It is the last week in April and we're getting the AC unit for the shop tuned up and running today. Change the air filters and we have 75 degrees in the shop with low humidity (that's the real winner when it is 93% humidity outside)
