4 heating zones, big exhaust fan, exhaust extraction system and lots of insulation means we stay comfortable year round.

Techs provide parts description and labor description list to the service advisor who then places the order. Some basic parts we keep on hand, but the majority will need to be ordered. We will receive parts as soon as possible.
Based on approval, employee's part's are purchased at cost.
The business itself has been in our local community since 1984. We took ownership of the shop about a month ago. Since then we are really looking to create a new culture and family friendly work environment. Here, no one is a number they are apart of our team.
We highly encourage continued education. Advancing a technicians career not only benefits the technician but us as a business as well. We will cover the cost of our technicians trainings and certifications.
There is always room for growth and movement in our company. We can help set a career path so that our technicians hit the goals they are looking to achieve. Through trainings, certifications, and some in house mentoring we are willing to help anywhere we can.
We run both 90 day, and annual reviews. We look at things like the technicians performance, advanced training for them, and just a general overall feeling from them how things are going. Yearly pay is also discussed during review.
We offer safety training through the shop on equipment and shop safety.
The owner will mentor junior technicians when time permits. This will include side-by-side work on repairs, and answering any further questions.
Not currently. We just moved to the community in the last month but will look to get involved in the near future.
Not currently, but again it's something we will look to do in the future. We have brought interns in to work with us in the past.
With just taking over the shop we are trying to get things as organized and streamlined as we can. This includes getting as much as we can paperless and through one work system. Our shop has a great local following so building upon that is something we will strive for as well.

This depends on where the candidate is located. If they are to far away we will do a light phone screen involving information about their experience, and personality. We will also make sure that our core values are aligned.
Both owners take part in the interview. Discussion includes technical skills, their years in the industry, certifications, and what they do and do not enjoy doing.

No formal assessment. We will oversee the technician for their first week on the job to make sure they don't have any additional questions, and are comfortable with the repairs being made.

SERVICE ADVISOR ASSISTANT $21 hourly position To create a welcoming environment for all customers and to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. To provide superior customer service to our customers in person and on the phone. To assist the Service Advisor in miscellaneous tasks as requested. Principle duties and Responsibilities: • Arrive on time as scheduled and be prepared for the day. • Be neatly groomed, clean and presentable to the public. • Greet and acknowledge customers as they enter the office, shop or parking lot. • Acknowledge customer concerns, maintain less than 1% customer complaints. Inform management of all areas of concern. • Answer phones courteously and in a timely matter. • Schedule appointments • Check customers in with the check in sheet and/or RO and signature. • Keep work space, office area, front bathroom and waiting room clean. • Work directly as an assistant to the service advisor and help with miscellaneous tasks. • Make follow up calls, recommended repair calls. • Confirm appointments either by phone or email. • Respond to reviews • Participate in training as required. • Send Thank you cards and recommendation cards as needed.
