  • Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

    Heated with waste oil and radiant heat

  • What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

    4-5 people

  • What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

    Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm. No weekends!

  • What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

    We provide most specialty tools and diagnostic tools. Everything is available other than hand tools.

  • What type of break room facility is provided?

    You can eat in the shop, or leave and do whatever you'd like during your lunch break.

  • How many bays does your shop have?

    5 bays

  • How many repair orders do you average per month?

    200

  • What is your parts ordering process?

    Service Advisor takes care of all parts ordering, so technicians do not have to worry about that.

  • What is your policy on side work?

    After 90 days, employees may work on family/friends cars after hours.

  • Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

    We all come to work to have fun and do what we love!

  • Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

    We have training classes (in person and online) through our various part vendors. We encourage employees to take as much training as possible.

    We will assign jobs you feel comfortable doing and rate your ability to complete the job in a timely fashion. Management is always available to discuss performance and help you grow.

    Our shop foreman works very closely with entry level techs to ensure proper work is being preformed, while teaching good habits and educating throughout the process of each task.

    We sponsor all the youth sports teams in the town of Ashland.

  • Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

    We would love to work more closely with local schools.

  • Where do you see the shop in five years?

    In 5 years, our shop will remain the best shop in town where people come for service knowing they are in good hands.

  • Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

    We ask that you provide us with a resume. We do not have an application.

  • Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

    We'll discuss your level of knowledge and ability. We will discuss past job placements and education so we can set the right expectations when you start.

    We want you to feel conformable with our shop. After the interview, we will give you a tour of the facility to make sure it is a place you would like to call your second home.

  • A Level Technician
    Pay Range: $65,000 - $85,000/year

    Technicians should be able to diagnose and repair most vehicle systems unassisted, including drivability, noise, and vibration. Technicians must have their own tools with minimum 5 years experience. ASE certifications a plus. Compensation based on experience.

  • B Level Technician
    Pay Range: $50,000 - $60,000/year

    Technicians should be able to diagnose basic electrical systems, identify noises and drivability concerns. Technicians must have their own tools and be able to work unassisted for majority of the tasks. Some ASE Certifications are a plus but not necessary

  • Lube/Tire Technician
    Pay Range: $34,000 - $38,000/year

    Technicians must be able to preform oil changes and tire replacement. Tools not required. We are looking for an individual that wants to grow to become an A level tech in the future. Must be motivated and have some experience.

Vacation Offered Shop is closed for 4th of July week and Christmas week, which is our paid vacation. After 2 years of employment, we offer a 3rd paid vacation week you can use anytime. We also provide 5 paid sick days and 2 personal days, earned after 90 days of employment.
