  • Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

    Ultimate Collision is fully heated!

  • What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

    We have 7 body technicians, 4 paint technicians, 2 preppers and a full administrative support team!

  • What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

    We offer flex hours between 6:00 AM through 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Additional hours are available as requested and as workload allows.

  • What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

    Ultimate Collision is stocked with the latest tools and equipment to meet the stringent requirements set forth by leading vehicle manufacturers such as Audi, Bentley, BMW, Rivian, Tesla and more!

  • What type of break room facility is provided?

    We have a large conference table available with an 85 inch TV for break time. PS - Lunch is provided by the company every Friday!

  • How many bays does your shop have?

    We operate out of a large, organized, spacious facility. Please see the picture section for more information! In the body shop, we have 7 bays with post lifts, scissor lifts, and a drive on frame machine. We also have a full alignment bay

  • How many repair orders do you average per month?

    85 - 120

  • What is your parts ordering process?

    We have 2 blueprinters and 2 estimators that take care of all parts processing functions. We also have a staff of 3 parts specialists including parts manager and 2 parts personnel.

  • What is your policy on side work?

    We ask that you focus on company-related vehicles while at the shop.

  • Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

    You will not find a shop that is better equipped with the latest technology!

  • Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

    Yes! We offer ICAR, ASE, and manufacturer-specific certification training!

    We work with each team member to create and manage a formal "Career Development Plan" to help them enhance and realize their professional goals and objectives.

  • Can you describe your performance review process?

    Each team member's "Career Development Plan" lists three and six month objectives and measurables.

  • What type of safety training is required?

    We adhere to all OSHA safety requirements.

  • Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

    Our technical team will rely on each other for assistance and guidance, drawing on the strengths and experiences of each individual.

    We actively support local schools and organizations.

  • Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

    We offer on-site walk-throughs to local programs to support any efforts to entice individuals into our industry.

    We will continue to be on the leading edge of training, repair processes, and manufacturer certification.

  • Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

    We have an application form that takes just a few minutes to complete.

  • Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

    Yes, we phone all applicants that submit their information electronically.

  • What do your in-person interviews entail?

    We'll discuss the applicant's prior experience, future growth plans, and fit within our company culture.

  • Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

    Various background checks may be conducted.

  • Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

    Based on the particular circumstances, an applicant may be asked to demonstrate their technical or administrative skillset.

  • After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

    We strive to get back to applicants in a timely manner after reviewing the in-person interview results with everyone involved.

  • Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

    Depending on the circumstances, hiring decisions can be made at the time of the in-person interview, or may take a few days.

  • A Level Technician
    Pay Range: $65,000 - $150,000/year

    Factory Certified Autobody Technicians earn up to $150,000 per year!! We offer a base hourly wage plus a monthly bonus based on labor gross profit. The luxury vehicles we work on warrant higher labor rates and the benefit is passed on to our technical staff!

  • B Level Technician
    Pay Range: $45,000 - $65,000/year ($21.63 - $31.25/hr)

    We offer a base hourly wage plus a monthly bonus based on labor gross profit. You have the stability of a base wage plus the upside of unlimited income potential!

  • Collision Technician - A Level
    Pay Range: $65,000 - $150,000/year

    Factory Certified Autobody Technicians earn up to $150,000 per year!! We offer a base hourly wage plus a monthly bonus based on labor gross profit. The luxury vehicles we work on warrant higher labor rates and the benefit is passed on to our technical staff!

  • Collision Technician - B Level
    Pay Range: $40,000 - $65,000/year ($19.23 - $31.25/hr)
    ($19.23 - $31.25/hr)

    We offer a base hourly wage plus a monthly bonus based on labor gross profit. You have the stability of a base wage plus the upside of unlimited income potential!

Sick Leave Offered The Company provides paid sick time (“PST”) to all employees, regardless of whether they work part-time or full-time, for periods of temporary absence due to illness, care of a family member, circumstances related to domestic or sexual violence, or any other personal reason. This policy is intended to comply with New Jersey’s Paid Sick Leave Act.
Vacation Offered Vacation time off with pay is available to eligible employees to provide opportunities for rest, relaxation, and personal pursuits. All full-time employees are eligible to earn and use vacation time. The amount of paid vacation time employees receive each year increases with the length of their employment.
Paid Holidays Offered Full-time employees that have concluded their probationary period will be paid for the following holidays: • New Year's Day • Memorial Day • Independence Day • Labor Day • Thanksgiving Day • Christmas Day
