Hiring Process
  • Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

    Shop is heated and large industrial fans for cooling

  • What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

    Currently have 14 main shop techs and 6 lube techs. Our main shop has 2 team leaders, currently 8 in one team and 6 in the other.

  • What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

    Our technicians have have either a 7am to 4pm shift or a 8am to 5pm shift. One hour is provided for lunch

  • What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

    Stellantis provided Specialty tools, Alignment and tire machines

  • What type of break room facility is provided?

    Clean and spacious break room. Refridgerator, microwave, snack machine

  • How many bays does your shop have?

    Main shop has 22 bays, 19 with lifts

  • How many repair orders do you average per month?

    1400 RO's a month and growing.

  • What is your parts ordering process?

    We currently use WiAdvisor to facilitate dispatch, multi point inspection and parts requests and pricing.

  • What is your policy on side work?

    Technicians wanting to work on their own cars will need prior management approval and work cannot be done on the clock.

  • Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

    We have a highly supportive team, always willing to help one another out! Our technicians provide a video inspection to our customers, to show our customers what is right or wrong with their vehicle. Show and Tell helps book more hours for you.

  • Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

    Yes! We provide Stellantis based training from level 0 to level 3 technicians. This includes new model training and technical classes for all Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram and Fiat models. Some are web based and others you may be sent to a training center near Cincinnatti. Hotel accomodations would be taken care of by the dealer.

  • Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

    We hope to continue growing our business along with our employee's careers! We always look to promote from within, especially if additional service/management positions open up in the future.

  • Can you describe your performance review process?

    Technicians and Advisors performance is monitored every week and reviewed monthly.

  • What type of safety training is required?

    We hold daily tech meetings and discuss the coming day. we'll discuss safety (i.e keeping work area clean, safety eyewear). Our shop provides gloves, safety goggles, cleaning materials, etc.

  • Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

    Our Senior/Master technicians are always happy to help younger technicians figure out any issues

  • How does your shop get involved with the local community?

    We work with Ivy Tech and Schools around here to help start apprentices down the pathway of becoming a Master Technician. Also, our main focus is serving the customer and the community. Making sure the vehicle is fixed right the first time, to make sure the customer's transportation needs are met.

  • Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

    We work with Ivy Tech and Schools around here to help start apprentices down the pathway of becoming a Master Technician.

  • Where do you see the shop in five years?

    We see the shop growing to over 25 technicians within the next couple years and plan to grow to the point of having to add to the shop.

  • Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

    We have an application form, and it takes just a couple of minutes to fill out.

  • Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

    Yes we do, just so that we can cover the basics and make sure it is the start of a good fit for both the applicant and the company

  • What do your in-person interviews entail?

    We Go over skills, and work history. Also go over plans for the future, and go over what we have to offer more in depth. Also, tour the facility with the applicant.

  • Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

    Yes we do. There are background checks, a drug screen, and an aptitude test.

  • Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

    Yes we go, and its a general mechanical aptitude test.

  • After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

    We strive to ensure that all candidates receive a response as quickly as possible. Average is within 24 hrs after interviewing with the hiring manager.

  • Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

    A couple of days normally, also depends on availability for drug screening.

  • A Level Technician
    Pay Range: $75,000 - $100,000/year

    Compensation is flat rate and based on experience and efficiency. As an A Level Technician, you can make well over $75,000/year!

  • B Level Technician
    Pay Range: $50,000 - $75,000/year

    Compensation is flat-rate and based on experience and efficiency.

  • C Level Technician
    Pay Range: $32,000 - $45,000/year

    Compensation is flat-rate and based on experience and efficiency.

  • Lube Technician
    Pay Range: $25,000 - $32,000/year

    Compensation is hourly and based on experience and efficiency.

  • Service Advisor
    Pay Range: $34,000 - $75,000/year

    Service Advisors will be working directly with customers and also backing up the internal advisor. Commissioned based pay. Must have customer service skills and be comfortable interacting with the public.
