From the front of the shop to the back, weather it's a customer or employee, everyone is treated like a person not just a number. We are committed to producing quality work in a timely manner. Our shop includes eight bays with all the necessary equipment to get any job done right the first time. If we don't have it, will buy it. Hiring Process
  • Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

    No formal applications, we look at resumes and make our decisions based on background, certifications and willingness to learn and advance.

  • Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

    A brief phone screen is completed just reviewing the resume.

  • What do your in-person interviews entail?

    The owner and manager take care of the in-person interview. During the interview we discuss technicians background, certifications and career path. We also get to know the technician including hobbies and personality.

  • Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

    No

  • Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

    No real assessment, but there will be a 30 day probationary period.

  • After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

    1-2 days, sometimes within a few hours for the right candidate

  • Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

    Couple of days, sometimes sooner for the right candidate.

    20 total, this includes technicians, managers, and office workers

  • What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

    7:00-5:00 (Monday-Friday), Flexibility with hours Every once in awhile a Saturday or a Sunday may be required

  • What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

    Would be willing to help purchase tools for technicians so they have everything they need. Provide press machine, alignment racks, diagnostic equipment ect....

  • What type of break room facility is provided?

    Fridge, microwave, oven, table, chairs

  • How many bays does your shop have?

    8

  • How many repair orders do you average per month?

    120+

  • What is your parts ordering process?

    Technician will write up the repairs need and then review it with the service advisor/manager. When everything looks good they will take it over to the parts department who will put in the order. Orders will be received as soon as possible.

  • What is your policy on side work?

    Side work is allowed with approval.

  • Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

    N/A

  • Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

    Currently we do not.

  • Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

    We will sit down with technicians and discuss their career path and goals in our industry. We will do all we can to help them get there.

  • Can you describe your performance review process?

    Every 3-4 months we will sit down with the tech and discuss how things are going. What's working, what's not working and their overall performance.

  • What type of safety training is required?

    No formal training

  • Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

    Experienced technicians will work with junior techs when time permits. They will answer and questions and help with any repairs while working with techs.

  • How does your shop get involved with the local community?

    Yes, we take part in several local donations.

  • Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

    We are up for helping out where ever we can. This includes high schools and tech. colleges.

  • Where do you see the shop in five years?

    Soon we will be a 24 hour shop. Currently we are looking to put the best staff around us we can to ensure customer satisfaction. With that we offer excellent compensation, and are currently looking to build out our benefits program for all of our technicians.

  • A Level Technician
    Pay Range: $75,000 - $150,000/year

    Hourly plus bonus (Additional bonus offered for weekend work and after hours work). Pay will be based on certifications and experience.

  • B Level Technician
    Pay Range: $50,000 - $130,000/year

    Hourly plus bonus (Additional bonus offered for weekend work and after hours work). Pay will be based on certifications and experience.

  • C Level Technician
    Pay Range: $45,000 - $100,000/year

    Hourly plus bonus (Additional bonus offered for weekend work and after hours work). Pay will be based on certifications and experience.

  • Lube Technician
    Pay Range: $40,000 - $90,000/year

    Hourly plus bonus (Additional bonus offered for weekend work and after hours work).

  • Student Tech / Apprentice
    Pay Range: $15 - $23/hour
