  • Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

    Our online application takes about 15 minutes to complete.

    The interview allows us to get to know the candidate, finding out about their previous work experience, attendance record, and skill evaluation.

  • Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

    A verbal assessment is done during the interview.

  • After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

    As quickly as 1 week, depending on how long the checks take to process.

    4-man technician team

  • What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

    Shop hours are 7am - 7pm Monday-Friday, and 7 am - 4pm Saturday. Shifts are 7am - 4pm or 10am - 7pm

  • What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

    Express Basic Tools Provided Build-in tool boxes

  • What type of break room facility is provided?

    We have a beautiful breakroom with table, chairs, microwave, and standard amenities.

  • How many bays does your shop have?

    40

  • How many repair orders do you average per month?

    3800

  • What is your parts ordering process?

    Typically they are available next day if they are not in stock.

  • What is your policy on side work?

    Side work is prohibited.

  • Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

    We have a fast-paced environment where there is always work coming in.

  • Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

    ASE certifications are covered by the dealership. We encourage techs to take training (in-person or online) if they are motivated.

  • Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

    We promote a career path through the following roles: Express Advance Maintenance Apprentice Journeyman

  • Can you describe your performance review process?

    Reviews are performed as often as needed. Reviews are based on attendance, efficiency, and fixing things right the first time.

  • What type of safety training is required?

    Safety training is performed quarterly by independent contractor.

  • Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

    Apprentices work within a team atmosphere and learn hands-on. Mentors receive a mentor bonus and apprentice efficiency bonus.

  • How does your shop get involved with the local community?

    Yes, we support our local community through donations to local schools, civic groups, and charities. We have been a part of Operation Click, which promotes safe driving amongst teens, giving them a chance to win a free car.

  • Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

    Yes, we try to encourage students to enter the field and partner where possible, such as with WCTC (local community college).

  • Where do you see the shop in five years?

    We hope to have 40 plus technicians servicing, along with doing at least 5,000 ROs a month!

  • Is there anything else you’d like to mention about career development and community?

    Hard work is recognized here. We are looking for techs that want to grow their career with us, and will reward them in return.

    Pay Range: $62,000 - $110,000/year

    Level A Technicians paid flat rate with production bonus

  • B Level Technician
    Pay Range: $60,000 - $85,000/year

    Level B Technicians paid flat rate with production bonus

  • C Level Technician
    Pay Range: $40,000 - $60,000/year

    Level C Technicians paid flat rate with production bonus

  • Lube Technician
    Pay Range: $25,000 - $35,000/year

    Paid hourly with sales commission bonus

  • Service Advisor
    Pay Range: $40,000 - $90,000/year

    Paid salary plus commission bonus

  • Service Manager
    Pay Range: $100,000 - $125,000/year

    Paid salary plus commission bonus

  • Student Tech / Apprentice
    Pay Range: $13 - $18/hour

    Hourly rate with hands-on training
