We have 7 staff total.

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:30pm No weekends!

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

Standard equipment is available for all techs to use.

What type of break room facility is provided?

We have an area with a table, chairs, refrigerator, microwave, etc., and the office can also be used as needed for breaks.

How many bays does your shop have?

6 bays

How many repair orders do you average per month?

Anywhere from 500-1000

What is your parts ordering process?

Very quick! If parts are not available in-person, they will be ordered and delivered ASAP.

What is your policy on side work?

No side work may be done at the shop.

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

We encourage training for our staff if they want to take advantage of it! We will get our technicians certified in emissions testing (if they are not already), and will pay for other certifications if the technician has been with us a while and plans to stay with our shop.

We prefer to promote from within and will help our technicians plan their career development with us.

Our seasoned technicians enjoy mentoring and coaching newer technicians. We have a supportive workplace where everyone strives to learn together.T

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

We are actively involved in the local school system, and sponsor football and other sports programs.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

Not yet, but we want to!

Where do you see the shop in five years?

We hope to be expanding! Along with hiring more employees, we hope to open a second location and continue growing.

Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

We have a paper application form that takes under 10 minutes to complete.

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

We prefer in-person interviews.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

The in-person interview will be with the owner(s), and potentially also the lead technician. It will be a casual conversation where we will find out more about the candidate and allow them to get to know us. The candidate will be able to meet other staff and see the shop.

Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

Hires must sign a drug-free workplace contract.

Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

There will be a verbal skill assessment during the interview process.

After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

Immediately after an interview, or shortly after - we try to make a decision as quickly as possible.

Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

Ideally within just a couple days.

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00/year

Compensation is flat-rate and may depend on efficiency, experience, etc.

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00/year

Compensation is flat-rate and may depend on efficiency, experience, etc.

C Level Technician
C Level Technicians are more of entry level technicians. C Level Technicians’ responsibilities typically include basic maintenance, alignments, brake and suspension work, along with other base level repairs.
Pay Range: $32,000.00 - $45,000.00/year

Compensation is flat-rate and may depend on efficiency, experience, etc.

Lube Technician
Lube Technicians are entry level technicians that focus on routine maintenance such as oil changes, changing tires, and inspections.
Pay Range: $20,000.00 - $32,000.00/year
