  • Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

    Yes we have an application. Takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.

  • Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

    We prefer to call an applicant to provide as much detail about the position applied for prior to meeting in person, but it's not required.

  • What do your in-person interviews entail?

    Applicant will meet with hiring manager and review past job history along with answering any questions they may have. We also like to provide information about the industry and what all the job entails while getting to know the applicant.

  • Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

    Yes to background and drug screening but no personality test

  • Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

    No, just situational, personality and work history questions during the interview process.

  • After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

    Approximately one week.

  • Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

    1 - 2 weeks depending on the applicants availability and proximity to a location.

  • Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

    Shop does have heat but no AC.

  • What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

    6

  • What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

    Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm Eastern Time

  • What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

    Welder, grinder, saws, air compressor, hoses, some air tools., testing equipment. Tech is required to provide their own hand tools.

  • What type of break room facility is provided?

    Small kitchen/break room that consists of refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot. We provide snacks and water.

  • How many bays does your shop have?

    6 - one with lift

  • How many repair orders do you average per month?

    40 per tech

  • What is your parts ordering process?

    Tech advises what is needed and service manager orders

  • What is your policy on side work?

    As long as it does not affect their work schedule or using shop supplies it is not a problem.

  • Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

    Relaxed environment with a great bunch of people. Very understanding on additional time needed to finish repairs/installations.

  • Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

    Yes. In addition to the company onboarding, employees will be offered certification and training through each manufacturer we work with.

  • Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

    We offer a range of career paths from entry level, traveling support, and management.

  • Can you describe your performance review process?

    Reviews are done yearly by employees supervisor.

  • What type of safety training is required?

    Safety training is done online through our NMEDA certification program.

  • Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

    Seasoned techs are available throughout the company at each location. These individuals are assessable to new hires throughout their career with Superior.

  • How does your shop get involved with the local community?

    Yes. We often attend charity events and work hand-in-hand with local rehab facilities.

  • Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

    Not presently, but are considering for the future.

  • Where do you see the shop in five years?

    The company is rapidly growing and recruiting talent from everywhere. In five years, we will still be the largest family owned mobility dealer with the most skilled technicians in the industry.

  • Is there anything else you’d like to mention about career development and community?

    With 16 stores across the US, there is much room for advancement. We encourage our staff to grow with us!

  • A Level Technician
    Pay Range: $35,500 - $58,400/year ($17.07 - $28.08/hr)

    We do not pay per technician level. Pay is based on experience, and certifications.

  • B Level Technician
    Pay Range: $35,500 - $52,000/year

    We do not pay per technician level. Pay is based on experience, and certifications.

  • C Level Technician
    Pay Range: $32,000 - $45,000/year

    We do not pay per technician level. Pay is based on experience, and certifications.

Anthem Blue Access PPO HSA *Company contribution of $500 for single, $750 for employee/spouse, $1,000 for family 2 Anthem Blue Access PPO Option 8 with Rx Option Anthem’s wellness program, “Wellbeing Solutions”, provides rewards of up to $200 per plan year with $50 for having your flu shot and wellness visit and up to $150 for completing various “My Health Rewards“ activities.
