  • Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

    -Heated shop

  • What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

    -Technicians work in a team of 5, with 2-3 service advisors involved as well

  • What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

    -7:00-5:00 (Monday-Friday), overtime available

  • What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

    -Chrysler specialty tools, tire mounter, tire balancer, hoists, welding torches, diagnostic equipment

  • What type of break room facility is provided?

    -3 break rooms, fridge, microwave, tables, utensils, tv's in all break rooms

  • How many bays does your shop have?

    -13

  • How many repair orders do you average per month?

    -600

  • What is your parts ordering process?

    -Technician will recommend parts to the advisor who will order or pass to our part specialist and they will order. Parts department is attached to the shop, and they try to accommodate same day or overnight of deliveries if possible

  • What is your policy on side work?

    -By approval only

  • Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

    -Family owned and operated for over 25 years -2 locations, Ford and Chrysler -Well established and respected in the community

    -We will help techs maintain current levels of training and complete advanced training. Chrysler will cover any travel costs related to training (hotels, meals, vehicle expenses, etc.).

    -We believe in promoting from within. Any level of technician from lube techs to master tech can work in a fast track program to advance.

    -There are yearly reviews done with Service Director and President.

  • What type of safety training is required?

    -No official safety training

  • Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

    -Yes, customized training programs are available. These will be designed with guidance and direction from the shop foreman.

  • How does your shop get involved with the local community?

    -We partner with a local technical college, and are involved in fundraisers & donations.

  • Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

    -We occasionally work with student apprentices from a local high school.

  • Where do you see the shop in five years?

    -We see our shop doubling in both customer and internal work flow, along with implementing additional stalls.

    -Yes, there is a paper application on-site that takes roughly five minutes to complete.

    -Yes. While in-person interviews are ideal, phone screening is also an option.

    -Conversation with Service Director and Advisor or Shop Foreman to discuss experience, tools, and goals.

    -Background checks will be conducted. There are no drug screenings or personality tests.

    -A skill assessment is done verbally during the interview.

    -Notification should come within 1-2 days after an interview.

    Pay Range: $130,000 - $150,000/year

    -Flat-rate structure, average $26.00-$30.00 per flagged hour -Sign-on bonus available

  • B Level Technician
    Pay Range: $90,000 - $120,000/year

    -Flat-rate structure, average $22.00-$26.00 per flagged hour -Sign-on bonus available

  • C Level Technician
    Pay Range: $30,000 - $42,000/year

    -Hourly pay

Health Insurance Offered -Employer covers 70%, Employee pays 30% of deductible, no copay for office visits, includes all networks, program is through WPS
Dental Insurance Offered -Delta Dental insurance, paid for by the employee
