  • Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

    We have an application available on our website under dealership tab and employment.

  • Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

    Yes

  • What do your in-person interviews entail?

    we will sit down and go through a series of questions and better understand what each of us is looking for.

  • Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

    We do a background and drug screen test.

  • Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

    We do not perform skill assessment at this time. We are looking for people who have the attitude and desire to succeed. we cant train or teach those. We can train everything else.

  • After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

    Typically within 48 hrs.

  • Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

    Its about a week for completion.

  • Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

    Main shop is air conditioned and heated.

  • What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

    There are currently 11 techs. No teams. Each individual as a schedule based on his availi

  • What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

    Shop hours are 7am-6pm, Monday-Friday and 7am to 3pm on Saturday. Techs are scheduled 7:30am to 6pm, and every other Saturday off. When techs work Saturday they have a day off during the week, so its always a 5 day week.

  • What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

    Toyota supplies us with Essential tools for certain repairs and recalls.

  • What type of break room facility is provided?

    There is a tech break room with TV, coffee and snack machines.

  • How many bays does your shop have?

    35 stalls and 2 alignment racks

  • How many repair orders do you average per month?

    3000 repair orders per month on average

  • What is your parts ordering process?

    Everything is done electronically through Reynolds DMS system

  • What is your policy on side work?

    Side work is not allowed. Personal and Family vehicles can be worked on with manager approval.

  • Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

    The biggest feature is the appt. scheduler. As a tech, you have control over how your day is scheduled. You can also see whats scheduled tomorrow and further out.

  • Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

    We have a training plan for everyone from valets to techs. Techs are set up on a plan to attain ASE certs and all Toyota Training in order to reach the highest plateau available.

  • Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

    There are multiple avenues for growth into management and leadership positions.

  • Can you describe your performance review process?

    We do One on Ones each month with all the staff.

  • What type of safety training is required?

    Basic safety skills are trained

  • Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

    We currently have 2 master techs who are mentors to our up and coming techs.

  • How does your shop get involved with the local community?

    We are active in the community. We have a social media director who is heavily involved with schools etc.

  • Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

    Yes. We work with local schools and the Toyota T10 program.

  • Where do you see the shop in five years?

    We are very innovative in our approach to customer service. From our Kiosk check in, our shop loading abilities and being able to offer True appts to customers, this is going to allow us to grow over 25% over the next 5 years based on our current plan.

  • A Level Technician
    Pay Range: $48,000 - $80,000/year

    Technicians are incentivized based on certifications and number of hours flagged. A master tech can make up to $5 an hour more than their current flag hour if they hit certain credentials.

  • B Level Technician
    Pay Range: $35,000 - $48,000/year

    Technicians are incentivized based on certifications and number of hours flagged. A master tech can make up to $3 an hour more than their current flag hour if they hit certain credentials.

  • Lube Technician
    Pay Range: $24,000 - $35,000/year

    Pay levels are based on Certifications and ASE's. State Inspector license will also gain more pay.

  • Collision Technician - A Level
    Pay Range: $60,000 - $90,000/year

    Collision techs are paid flag hour.

  • Collision Technician - B Level
    Pay Range: $40,000 - $70,000/year

    Collision Techs are paid flag hour.

  • Collision Painter
    Pay Range: $60,000 - $90,000/year

    Painters are paid flag hour wage.

  • Collision Prepper
    Pay Range: $35,000 - $50,000/year

    Preppers are paid hourly.
