We have 3 field mechanics and s shop mechanics all will 20 plus years.
We start work at 7am and end the day at 4 pm average 45 hours week. Field service techs start at 7am and end the day at 4 pm. Field serves techs rotate on call weekends and nights average 55 hours a week.
We provide specialty tools, lap tops ect.
we have a kitchen and break room. Currently under renovation due to the last Hurricane.

We are a Tadano , Kobleco Crane, Volvo , Broderson Dealer. For the most part we keep it simple and primarily work on these lines.

Every six months, each employee gets an opportunity to sit down with the Service Manager to discuss his/her performance and how we can improve.
Each employee goes through a minimum of eight hours of safety training annually in General industry OSHA Compliance . They may also need to attend additional training that is required by clients, site specific, etc.
We have a long history of apprenticeship and teaching the trade to all those who are interested! Our apprentice Techs do hands-on work in our shop, where they are mentored by their peers, Shop Foremen, Service Manager and Store Manager.
We support several local charities and work closely with the City of St. Rose and other municipalities in an effort to truly be a part of our community.
At all our locations, Scott Equipment works with high schools and tech schools to offer students training and job opportunities.

A level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A level Technician as the highest skilled technician in our service department.
B level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be relied upon to handle most repairs.
Student & Apprentice technicians work on an entry-level task while completing their school programs or apprenticeship here at Scott.
