The shop has new radiant heat for winter, and large fans for summer.
The service department has 5 lube techs, 10 line techs, and 3 service advisors. Our body shop has 4 body men, 2 painters, and 1 prep worker. We are looking for a team of 10.
Our Service Department is open M-F 7:30am - 6pm. Tech Hours are M-F 8 am-5 pm. Body Shop hours are M-F 8am- 5:30 pm. No weekend hours; the dealership is closed.
All specialty tools are provided.
There is a tech lounge and cafeteria.
There are 23 bays in our service shop, and 32 in our body shop.
We average 1,500 service repair orders a month, and 180 body shop orders.
There is a parts department in our service lobby, manned by two employees and a delivery driver.
Side work is not permitted on the premises.
We are located by the beautiful lake Saint Clair. This dealership has been family ran and operated for 76 years. We pride ourselves in our growth as a team over the years, as well as helping our employees grow from within the company.
We offer paid Stars Training, factory approved training, through Ford for service technicians. Body shop technicians receive factory approved training as well as I-Car training.
We promote from within as much as we can. Our employee retention rate is above 90%, with one of our service technicians being here for 47 years, and a service advisor for 36 years.
Our performance review process consists of a one on one sit down chat with the service manager every 90-120 days.
There are monthly safety training sessions for service technicians, and standard training videos for body shop technicians.
Entry level technicians start as lube technicians and are promoted to work with master technicians.
We work with various charities such as Kiwanis, Gleaners, and more. We also sponsor and participate in various car cruises in the Metro-Detroit area. The dealership as a whole hosts monthly jeans days for various charities.
We work with local vocational programs as sponsors and mentors.
In five-years, we see continued growth and demand for quality technicians 5+ years and beyond.

Our in-person interview is a simple Q&A segment. It will be a friendly conversation to have our service manager get to know the candidate, and vise versa.
