The shop is heated and air conditioned.
Our team consists of four Certified Technicians, one Apprentice, one Parts Specialist, one shop helper/support, two Service Advisors, a General Manager, and our Owner.
Our shop is open from 7:30 am - 6:00 pm. Technicians and Parts staff typically work from 8 - 5, Advisors split open and closing of the store.
We provide all Diagnostic Computers, as well as specialty tools from the manufacturers. We provide tablets for the Technicians as well.
We have a breakroom with seating for 10, a refrigerator, and a microwave.
Our shop has seven bays.
We currently average 140 - 150 repair orders per month, with demand offering the ability to grow.
Our Parts specialist orders and receives all parts.
Technicians are allowed to work on cars at the shop for their immediate family. We discourage side work on any European cars.
We have an exceptionally clean shop, client lounge, and offices, with a floor that is cleaned daily, LED lighting, and extremely well organized. We work and get along as a family, with Technicians happy to jump in and help one another.
We offer both in-person and online training for Technician's, Advisors, Managers, and the owner. We attend at least on large national training seminar each year. Staff is encouraged to bring training opportunities to management that they would like to attend and feel would benefit both them and the shop, and we will make every effort to allow them to attend, on the company's dime.
We are in a growth position with our owner, Reggie, looking to purchase additional shops. This will allow staff to move and grow with the company.
We monitor performance indicators weekly and share them with the staff, both for the company and individuals. We have a coaching process we go through each year, as opposed to a basic annual review. The goal is to encourage growth.
We are developing safety training as our company grows.
For several years, we have been a shop that only staffed A-level Technicians. We have recently brought in an Apprentice to help train them and build them up the best way we can. The Apprentice typically works while communicating directly with our Shop Foreman, however, they do work and learn with our other Technician's from time to time as well.
The local community organization that we are most involved with is Fuel for School. Fueled for School's mission is "We eliminate hunger among Hamilton County students by providing food insecure youth with nutritious meal packs, promoting the educational value of nutrition, increasing access to local food, and instilling hope. In doing so, Fueled for School ensures that food relief has a more meaningful, sustainable impact for undernourished students and local producers." We have also worked with a not-for-profit that gives under-privileged kids hands-on experience of working on cars to help point them in a direction of automotive repair.
We have attended job fairs at the local middle schools to talk to kids and encourage them to learn about automotive repairs from both the Technician and Advisor positions. We have welcomed interns from the local high school for a semester at a time to work with our Technicians and help prepare them for technical school. Our owner has been a guest speaker for automotive classes at the local technical college, and he has worked with them to try and place an apprentice with us.
Our shop continues to grow every year. We are starting plans to build a brand-new facility next door that will allow us to hire more technicians. We are also looking to acquire at least one other European shop in our area. Our Asian & Domestic sister shop is in the process of acquiring other all-makes shops as well.
We strongly encourage continued career development for or staff! We want to provide our staff with any education that they are interested in.
We have an online form that is just an introduction, a place to submit contact information, and upload a resume. It only takes a couple of minutes to complete.
We do perform an initial phone interview, which can take between 20 - 30 minutes.
Our in-person interviews include a shop tour of both our shop and our sister-shop next door, Noble Auto Service. Applicants will meet with both our general manager and our shop foreman. The final interview step is to have lunch with, or just get together with, our entire staff (not including management), just to see how well everyone gets a long and will be able to work together.
We perform a background check through ADP. We do also require a personality test to be completed at time of starting, but it does not effect hiring or employment. It is simply a way to for us to learn how our staff learns best and works with other people.
We typically do not perform a skill assessment, however, that could be an applicant by applicant request.

We try to complete the process with about a week.
It's not uncommon to spend more time with your co-workers than your family or friends. A good working relationship is key to maintaining and continuing to grow our culture. One of the most important things from the hiring process with to make sure everyone vibes well together and gets along.
