  • Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

    Shop is heated and well ventilated.

  • What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

    18 Line techs and 8 Lube techs.

  • What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

    Shop Hours: M - F 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM Sat. 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Shifts: M - F: 7:30PM - 4:30 PM 8:00AM - 5:00PM 9:00AM - 6:00PM 11:00AM - 8:00 PM

  • What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

    Shop provides all MFG Specialty Tools including LapTop and diagnostic software. Technicians are expected to have their own tools and tool box.

  • What type of break room facility is provided?

    Clean and quiet break room with fridge, microwaves, TV, AC, music and kitchen.

  • How many bays does your shop have?

    26

  • What is your policy on side work?

    We do not allow side work to be done on site as it is an insurance issue.

    We have a positive, "help your neighbor" environment in our drama-free shop

  • Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

    Shop pays for completed and passed ASEs. Shop pays for MFG training both on site and off premise including : Travel, Lodging, Food, and time at class.

  • Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

    Our mission statement is Growth Powered By People! How far you go depends on you and your drive. We have had many techs become service managers and service managers become fixed operations directors and even general managers!

  • Can you describe your performance review process?

    Performance Reviews are each done at service manager's discretion.

  • What type of safety training is required?

    Monthly safety meetings. On-line safety training at hire. Safety committee on site.

  • Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

    Our senior technicians are afforded the opportunity to mentor new and upcoming techs.

  • How does your shop get involved with the local community?

    All Lithia stores are very involved in community events. Lithia Motors Inc. has great national community involvement including Lithia 4 Kids.

  • Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

    Our local stores and national recruiters are very involved with local High School vocational programs . Lithia Motors Inc. is a preferred employer at all national vocational schools.

  • Where do you see the shop in five years?

    YOY growth has been incredible and projected to continue through the next 5 years. We are also implementing on-line service and sales through our new Driveway division!

  • Is there anything else you’d like to mention about career development and community?

  • Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

    We do have an online application and it usually takes less than 20 minutes to complete.

  • Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

    Applicants are phone screened by a recruiter and then an in person or phone interview is scheduled with the service manager.

  • What do your in-person interviews entail?

    One on one question and answer with the service manager and shop foreman if available.

  • Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

    Assessments may be conducted prior to offer. Background, MVR and Drug Screens are conducted after offer and with hire being contingent to outcome.

  • Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

    There are some assessments that are performed on line.

  • After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

    We try to keep in contact with our candidates and a rejection or offer is usually made within a week.

  • Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

    Depending on the number of applicants it usually takes less than a week.

  • A Level Technician
    Pay Range: $80,000 - $165,000/year

    Flat Rate Master Certified Subaru or Mazda. Expert in Engine, Drivetrain and Electrical

  • B Level Technician
    Pay Range: $50,000 - $80,000/year

    Flat Rate MFG Certified Tech working towards Master Certifications. Proficient in: Maintenance, Brakes and alignments

  • C Level Technician
    Pay Range: $40,000 - $50,000/year

    Flat Rate Proficient in Tires, Reconditioning used cars and PDI for new and used cars. Working at certifications for promotion.

  • Lube Technician
    Pay Range: $25,000 - $40,000/year

    Flat Rate Entry Level Tech able to perform L.O.F., Tire Rotations, Filters and Batteries Interested in earning experience for promotion.

  • Service Advisor
    Pay Range: $60,000 - $120,000/year

    Pay Plan is commission based and hire wages based on experience.
