Hours are 7:30am to 4pm , one shift
Our shop has a tool room with specialty tools for your use
Our break room includes a locker room, lunch room, vending machines, and TV

We average 141 repair orders per month
Technicians determine part needs, discusses with TSM and provides parts with a Parts request sheet for either quoting or ordering.
Side work or (Moon lighting) as we call it is not permitted
Yes, Penn Power Group employees have access to initial and on going in house, factory authorized training. In addition, we send technicians to external trainings as needed. Lastly, technicians can earn an increase for obtaining and maintaining ASE certifications..
Technicians can grow their careers through adding on certifications, taking on additional responsibilities including mobile fleet technician, lead and foreman roles. A number of our technicians have also transferred to leadership roles within their locations.
Everyone in the organization receives annual performance and compensation reviews. In addition technicians are reviewed on an as needed basis to recognize outstanding performance.

When a technician joins our team, regardless of their level of experience, we match them with another technician to show them how to work within our system. Depending on the individual situations and experience levels the technicians work closely with management to oversee the technician's work.

Our teams work very closely with local technical and career schools and members of our staff sit on advisory boards as well as present ot students on a regular basis
Penn Power Group's Fleet Services team is on the fast track to add technicians to not only support customers at their sites, but also to bring work back to our service centers that cannot be completed in the field. This expansion will continue to create many opportunities for new and existing staff technicians.

Experience performing repairs and inspections on variety of Class 5-8 trucks, such as brakes, tires, wiring etc. at customer locations. Maintain a high level of productivity and be able to work within or close to most Standard Labor Operations. The ability to take ownership of all aspects of customers'; vehicle repair to provide best in-class service. Operate dedicated Service Truck in a safe manner.
