Not really needed in the climate we have here, but heat is provided if necessary.
The team consists of 5-7 office staff, currently six technicians but will grow soon to 10 or more.
Normal business hours are 8-5 Mon through Friday; however, we are a 24/7 road service provider for many large fleets, equipment and trucking companies, so hours may vary depending on the position you are selected for. If you are selected as a road service technician, you will be on call on a rotational basis with the other road service technicians.

We have a system where techs generally order their parts for the job they are working on through one of our many parts vendors or dealers if it is an unscheduled job, otherwise the Service Writer or Service Manager orders and stages the parts with the corresponding service order in the parts staging area.
We do not allow side work on any type of truck or equipment that we work on.
Family atmosphere. We choose our team members carefully to ensure that we are all a good fit and have many common interests. We have as much flexibility as possible to allow for family time and a work life balance.
We offer assistance for continuing education, and we have a program to increase pay for each certification that we sponsor.
We are a relatively young company with extreme growth opportunities! We are excited and eager to promote from within and do so whenever possible. Due to our unprecedented growth, we have and will continue to have promotion and growth opportunities.
We have an initial 90-day evaluation period at which time a review is completed, after that we complete performance reviews at the first six months of employment, then on the employee's yearly anniversary. Employees are evaluated on attendance, punctuality, efficiency, ETC...
New hires are initially trained on our safety procedures, and we have safety meetings periodically to review best practices.
The Lead Techs and Senior Lead Techs help train and mentor younger, less seasoned techs in the field, and our service manager and GM will also pitch in with training and mentoring.
We partner with several environmental clean-up organizations.
Currently we do not, but plan to in the future.
We see the business in five years with three to five other locations and/or franchises, in different cities or possibly other states. This location will continue to grow rapidly during that time as well.
We have an application form that is normally completed in person, but generally we set up interviews by the applicant's resume.
Generally, yes, we will initially conduct a phone interview, then depending on the outcome of that phone conversation we will set up a face to face to interview.

The Service Manager oversees daily operations in the shop and our mobile service techs. This position reviews pricing and charges on service orders and creates invoices from the service orders. The Service Advisor/Writer and technicians report to the Service Manager.
