Our Service Advisors run the parts ordering process. They will write everything up and get everything ordered for each repair. We also have a technician designated at each location to run and get parts, handle returned parts, and take care of longer test drives. Parts will be received as soon as we can get them.
Personal vehicles, and family vehicles, can be done after hours and on approval by the manager
Culture and work environment is very important to us. We play no favoritism and everyone is treated the same. We are always open to new ideas to help improve our shop and team atmosphere. With any objectives we sit down as a team and brainstorm ideas to find a solution. We also have an additional location in Powell that we are always looking for good team members as well.
Our company is always looking for continued training for our technicians. The owner and technicians are always on the lookout for opportunities and training will be paid for technician to attend.
Our goal is for all of our technicians to become master technicians. We will help train any technician who has the willingness to advance with our in shop mentoring program, and out of shop training opportunities.
Every 90 days we do reviews. Reviews are half job related, and half goals related. We run through job performance, and go over career and personal life goals. We also have weekly team meetings and review our scorecards. This includes weekly goals, and averages for example.
Nothing formal
Junior technician will join our team on an hourly pay system. They team up with with a senior technician who will help them through repairs, and answer any further questions. The senior technician will still receive hours turned pay during this process.
We participate in activities like street fairs, and support local sports teams. We are always brainstorming different ideas to help our community. For example, during the pandemic we offered free oil changes to all healthcare workers.
We have a brand new career center in our town. Our owner participates on the advisory board. We also work with a local ministry to help with local teenagers develop life skills. We donate tools and time to the program.
We are looking to expand our brand to five locations in the next five years. Finding staff will be crucial in that process. Our goal is to be the best place to go in Central Ohio for vehicle service and repairs. We also want our culture and work environment to match. This is a place for a technician to call home, not just a stopping point.

Yes, we discuss the company's atmosphere and culture. We also like to get to know the technician beyond just their work history. Things like hobbies, family and future goals.
We do a two step in-person interview process. The first interview will be with the owner. Discussion really jumps into technicians background, work history and career goals. We also do a shop tour to show them around and get them to meet our other technicians. Second interview is done with owner and the location manager. During this phase we have technicians take our Athena assessment which takes about 15 minutes. This will not be a deal breaker on whether or not you get the position.
No background check or drug screen. Athena test is done during the second interview.
We do a two page skills assessment that is done during the application stage of the hiring process.
