    We do phone screen, typically, before scheduling interviews.

  • What do your in-person interviews entail?

    In-person interviews consist of a professional discussion with hiring managers to cover your background and related experiences, as well as details in the position and the company.

  • Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

    We conduct background screens and drug screens.

  • Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

    We will perform a skills assessment on specialized positions, such as Welder.

    After an in-person interview, you should expect to be notified on our decision within 1 week.

    Our hiring process typically takes about 1 week after in-person interview is complete, but the timeframe is dictated by how quickly previous employers, courts, and schools return verification.

  • What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

    We have about 75 employees in the Service department in the Columbus branch.

  • What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

    Shift Hours are as follows: 1st Shift 7:00am-3:30pm 2nd Shift 3:30pm-12:00am

  • What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

    Technicians provide their own common tools. Any specialty tooling is provided by the company and available in our shop tool room.

  • What type of break room facility is provided?

    Break rooms are provided but are temporarily closed due to COVID-19

  • How many bays does your shop have?

    We have 20 bays at the Columbus location

  • How many repair orders do you average per month?

    Each month varies, dependent upon business needs and seasonality.

  • What is your parts ordering process?

    Parts are ordered within the branch and delivered directly from our on-site parts warehouse or through our extensive parts network.

  • What is your policy on side work?

    Technicians are permitted to perform side work only to their own equipment or the equipment of immediate family members. Any work outside of this is strictly prohibited.

  • Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

  • Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

    All employees are required a minimum of 24 hours per year of training.

  • Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

    There are several positions that a Technician could advance to within the dealership, including to Field-service, sales rep, supervisor, and manager.

  • Can you describe your performance review process?

    Performance reviews are conducted at minimum every 12 months.

  • What type of safety training is required?

    Safety is of utmost importance, with us maintaining focus on safety and safety training for all employees.

  • Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

    Top-level technicians have the opportunity to mentor younger technicians in our Internship program. Mentors will receive an extra differential on their hourly pay for this service.

  • How does your shop get involved with the local community?

    Community involvement is important to the company. Our owner donates $10.00 per hour for each hour volunteered, up to $100.00 per employee.

  • Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

    We partner with and recruit with almost all vocational schools in our territory to build a pipeline of qualified and interested individuals to enter the industry.

  • Where do you see the shop in five years?

    Our goal is continual growth, so we see our shops in 5 years with additional business demand.

  • A Level Technician
    Pay Range: $40,000 - $64,000/year

    Pay range will be dependent upon years of experience and capabilities, but is based hourly.

  • B Level Technician
    Pay Range: $40,000 - $60,000/year

    Pay range will be dependent upon years of experience and capabilities, but is based hourly.
