Yes, the shop has heat in it. No air-conditioned at this time. However, large volume fans or portable ac units are optional and can be provided
We have a great team of 14 technicians with various backgrounds, and skillsets. We also have a knowledgeable parts staff, experienced service advisors, and a team of support staff who focus on supporting and building the service business.
Most of our technician team works 8 AM TILL 5 PM MONDAY THRU FRIDAY and rotates every other Saturday. We are also open to creative schedules such as 4 12s, Tuesday through Saturday, and part-time or flexible schedules to accommodate team members who are still attending school.
Top-of-the-line specialty tools, and auto diagnostic setup. We also will purchase or partner with local parts stores, and other industrial relations to obtain specialty tools as needed for the variety of makes we service
WE HAVE A BRAND-NEW BREAK ROOM WITH VENDING MACHINES AND A 80" TV WITH VIDEO GAMES.
We have 19 bays
Per month we average 600 -80-90% of which is used car reconditioning, with the sales department being our current number 1 customer
We keep a modest inventory of fast-moving parts and tires on-site. We have 2 dedicated parts reps who focus on quickly sourcing parts from a long list of business partners. Much of the maintenance and repair work being performed is supplied with quick hot-shot deliveries from local parts sources.
Our business model aims to keep technicians productive in full. Personal and immediate family members vehicles are considered on a case-by-case basis and at management's discretion
A consistent abundance of work. Challenging, and rewarding positions by gaining experience with all makes and all models. We are proud that we have been able to maintain through the pandemic with 0 closures, and 0 layoffs in the shop. In fact, our tenured technicians averaged almost 60 flat-rate hours per week while other dealers and repair shops closed around us.
We offer the Matrix program for our on boarding technicians and offer continued on site education.
Hard honest work will give many opportunities for advancement. It is common to see our technicians progress through the ranks by expanding on their skills and knowledge base and can often end up in team lead, shop foreman, and other management roles throughout our growing organization.
We strive to communicate individual feedback on a consistent and daily basis. More formal reviews can happen at 90 days, and then 6- or 12-month intervals and review a variety of metrics including tech efficiency, attitude, attendance, and other key business focuses as required
Training provided by senior team members, as well as a dedicated third-party program that focuses just on health and safety. Training is completed online and sometimes in-person onsite. We strive for a safe and healthy workplace.
We consider our staff family, everyone gets involved. Entry-level staff is often paired with senior members in their position for on-the-job training. We encourage skill cross-training and full development/certification based on the individual's willingness and aptitude
