Conference Room: Hold quarterly safety meetings. Employees can do training from laptops in this room. Lunch Room: TV, Fridge, Microwave, Pizza Oven, Sink. Has A/C for summer and Heat for winter. Showroom: Pic is looking from front door to parts & service departments. Nice & open concept. Customers can see right into the shop. Hose making: We have hundreds of fittings & a lot of hose & make our own hoses all the time. Tire machine: This greatly assists dismounting a tire from a rim & remounting it back on again. Doesn’t do all the work but saves your back immensely. Tech work area: All techs have a desk, stool, hose reel, vise, & 3 parts benches/shelves all to themselves. Shop has a 10,000 crane to hoist heavy equipment off of a trailer/truck. Saves time & is a lot more safer than using chains. We expanded our shop by 10,000 square feet in 2015. Jim installed in floor heat just for Tad alone !!! To help save on joint & back pain when you have to lay on the floor from time to time when fixing something. General pic of the center of the shop. Washbay: You can back a 27 foot trailer with an F250 into it & clean it without disrupting a tech or another worker in the shop. Completely independent area from the tech area but it is attached so you can drive from the washbay to a tech stall without going outside.

  • Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

    The shop is heated and not air conditioned. We added on to the shop 10,000 square feet a few years ago and at that time we did add in floor heat to the new addition. We supply big fans to generate circulation during the summer heat.

  • What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

    You'd be working directly with 6 other Technicians. On top of that, our team at the location consists of sales, parts, and warranty personnel that totals about 15 people.

  • What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

    The typical shift is 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. You also get a half hour lunch in addition to two 10 minute paid breaks.

  • What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

    We have cranes, hoists (for a variety of equipment), OEM testing equipment and every Technician gets a laptop. Techs are required to supply their own general tools such as hand tools, air tools, etc.

  • What type of break room facility is provided?

    We have a break room that has a refrigerator, TV, microwave, pizza oven, and air conditioning.

  • How many bays does your shop have?

    20 bays for technicians to work in. Each technician has their own 3 bays. We also have a large washbay for everyone to use as needed. This accomodates a 27 foot trailer hooked up to an F250 truck.

  • How many repair orders do you average per month?

    Around 300

  • What is your parts ordering process?

    Techs will look up parts, order it to a ticket and the parts people order the parts.

  • What is your policy on side work?

    We do not allow any side work that conflicts with the day to day operations of our company. Side work can be done if approved by management.

  • Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

    We cater in food and drinks once per quarter. We like to promote internal relationships and drive our culture forward in a positive direction. Annual Christmas party that is all inclusive. We went to a Brewer game in 2021. Lots of other fun company events !!!

  • Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

    OEM training as provided by Bobcat, Ski-Doo, SeaDoo, Yamaha, Honda, CF Moto and Scag.

    We do an annual review and the review is based on your general performance.

  • What type of safety training is required?

    Our insurance company comes in every 3 months to educate our team on best practices for safety.

    We are very team oriented and will do everything we can to train you up. Our Techs typically go through training with our sister store in St. Nazianz.

  • How does your shop get involved with the local community?

    We are actively donating to non-profit organizations to help support our local communities.

  • Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

    We support the Youth Apprentice program and are always looking for opportunities to educate young people about the industry.

  • Where do you see the shop in five years?

    Service is the foundation to all of our future growth. We have a big opportunity to expand based on the quality of talent we can get in our shop.

    We do not phone screen applicants prior to doing an in person interview.

  • What do your in-person interviews entail?

    You will be interviewing with our General Manager and we will go through general questions to learn more about you.

  • Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

    We do not currently do any type of background check.

  • Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

    We typically get a feel for your technical ability throughout the interview process.

  • After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

    1 to 3 days.

  • Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

    In most cases, less than a week.

  • A Level Technician
    Pay Range: $45,000 - $55,000/year

    Techs are paid hourly and overtime is available. We consider an A Level to be able to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair most everything with the equipment we service.

Health Insurance Offered Health insurance is offered through marketplace. The company pays for 70% of the premium and you pick your plan.

Vacation Offered We have a PTO plan that is prorated, so you will get vacation that will accumulate starting immediately. Plus you get your Birthday as a paid holiday!

ST / LT Disability Offered Available to employees and the company pays a portion of the premium for employees that want to participate.
Life Insurance Offered A policy is taken out for $25,000 for employees 30 days after your start date.
Uniforms Offered Company pays for half the cost of uniforms. Uniform company launders.
