  • Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

    Shop is heated and air-conditioned.

  • What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

    Technician teams are typically consist of 4-5 technicians.

  • What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

    Shop hours are 7am to 8pm. Shift timeframes vary for each employee based on scheduling and availability. Most technicians work four or five day work weeks.

  • What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

    Technical tools are provided. Additional tools can be brought in by employee. Additional tools can also be purchased.

  • What type of break room facility is provided?

    Breakrooms with dining tables, microwaves and refrigerators are available for all employees to use.

  • How many bays does your shop have?

    23 bays.

  • How many repair orders do you average per month?

    1000 average ROs per month.

  • What is your parts ordering process?

    Many parts are stored on sight. Special order parts can be ordered through the parts department.

  • What is your policy on side work?

    No side work is permitted.

  • Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

    Skills training courses are offered to technicians. Training is also paid for most positions. On-site training and online digital training programs are available. Educational reimbursement program is also offered for technicians.

  • Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

    Our company offers a digital pathing tool program for employees to utilize. We believe in promoting from within.

  • Can you describe your performance review process?

    Technician performance is continually monitored by management. Semi-annual performance reviews are summited for each tech by Service Manager.

  • What type of safety training is required?

    Virtual safety training is offered.

  • Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

    Many technicians start as apprentices. This means that they will be paired with a more experienced technician whom they will work alongside to learn and grow and advance their skills. The master tech and the apprentice tech will work together daily to ensure quality work and learning is being completed.

  • How does your shop get involved with the local community?

    At Mike Shaw Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram we pride ourselves on partnering with many local organizations in our community. We are eager to be able to do more and more as we continue our partnership. Here are some of the organizations that are near and dear to us as we continue to grow and establish more partnerships.

    In 5 years, we see our shop continuing to expand and grow to better serve the Greeley community. As demand for skilled technicians grow we are eager to acquire more technicians to better serve the demand in Greeley.

  • Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

    Yes, we provide an electronic application form. The application form takes about 10-15 minutes to complete. Once the application is completed the potential employee will then complete a Caliper Assessment which takes 15-20 minutes.

  • Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

    No, in most cases, the employee is invited in for an in-person interview.

  • What do your in-person interviews entail?

    In-person interviews typically occur at our dealership where the potential hire will sit down with multiple management personnel. Typically the Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager and/or the Fixed Operations Director is present for in-person interviews. A few basic questions are asked, including what the potential hire is looking for in the job, what hours and days he or she can work, and what he or she values in a job.

  • Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

    Yes. Background checks as well as drug screening and personality tests are required for each employee prior to hiring.

  • Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

    We preform a Caliper assessment on all new hires. This is a form of a personality test that allows us to learn more about the employees personality, work style, interests and more. This assessment also records problem solving skills and the employees ability to work with a team.

  • After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

    24 hours

  • Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

    48-72 hours

  • Is there anything else you’d like to mention about your hiring process?

    A detailed resume is always helpful in allowing us to learn more about potential hires!

  • A Level Technician
    Pay Range: $90,000 - $120,000/year

    Pay structure can vary based on skill level and certification. $5,000 sign on bonus for qualified A- Level technicians who are successfully onboarded and hired.

  • B Level Technician
    Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000/year

    Pay structure can vary based on skill level and certification. $5,000 sign on bonus for qualified B- Level technicians who are successfully onboarded and hired.

  • C Level Technician
    Pay Range: $50,000 - $70,000/year

    Pay structure can vary based on skill level and certification.

  • Lube Technician
    Pay Range: $35,000 - $45,000/year

    Pay structure can vary based on skill level and certification.

Health Insurance Offered UnitedHealthcare is our current medical healthcare administrator. Employees have two medical options to choose from.
Dental Insurance Offered Through Cigna Healthcare employees have a choice of two PPO Dental options.
Vision Insurance Offered UnitedHealthcare is our current vision administrator.
Retirement Plan Offered 401 K Company match offered through Fidelity. All full-time and part-time team members are eligible to participate in the retirement savings plan.
