    The shop is heated. The shop is going to be extensively remodeled starting summer 2021. The remodel will include new floors, built-in benches and A/C in the shop.

    Shop is open 7-7 Monday - Friday, Saturdays 7-4. Most shifts are 9 hours including 1 hour for meal period.

    Shop has Toyota Special Service Tools along with general shop equipment necessary for repairs.

    We offer a wide range of training and continuing education opportunities. We have access to University of Toyota for both classroom and online courses. We also currently have internships and scholarships for entry level technicians.

    Entry Level to Master Certified for Technicians. Also have a wide range of non-technical positions available. We encourage and will help you grow to your highest potential.

  • Can you describe your performance review process?

    Compensation is based on contribution to the departments goals. Certifications, attitude, attendance, and productivity are all factors in performance reviews.

  • What type of safety training is required?

    Yes we have regular shop safety inspections and company provided safety training. Proper PPE is required and provided.

  • Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

    Current Team system for main shop is a team leader (master tech). Team leader is responsible for ensuring the proper work goes to the proper techs. The Team Leader and shop foreman will work together to maximize your potential.

  • How does your shop get involved with the local community?

    We work with many schools and organizations to be a valued partner and employer in the community.

  • Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

    Yes we actively participate in High School CTE programs. We sponsor open house events, internships and scholarships for local schools.

  • Where do you see the shop in five years?

    Toyota business is booming. Our goal is to continue to take care of our employees and customers. We still have room to grow in both volume and recruitment. We will need to add 20 technicians over the next 5 years.

    Toyota Certified technician, A level Master diagnostic technician-MDT, pay structure is based on Flat Rate system.

  • B Level Technician
    Pay Range: $70,000 - $77,000/year

    Toyota Master Technician, pay structure is based on Flat Rate system.

  • C Level Technician
    Pay Range: $43,500 - $77,000/year

    Toyota Certified and Expert Technician, pay structure is based on Flat Rate system.

  • Lube Technician
    Pay Range: $16,000 - $32,000/year

    Entry Level Express Technician, flag hours based on experience.

  • Service Advisor
    Pay Range: $45,000 - $100,000/year

Health Insurance Offered Health insurance is incredibly important to us which is why we offer low cost premiums with great coverage for you and your family with the oppertunity to have free coverage for an employee with the participation in our Helath and Wellness program. Aetna PPO $30 PCP Copay, $2,500 deductable 20% Co-Insurance with a $6,600 out of pocket max for employee only. This plan costs $119.61/month! KelseyCare HMO $25 PCP Copay, $1,500 Deductable, 10% Co-Insurance with a $4,500 out of pocket max for employee only. This plan costs $104.45/month!
Dental Insurance Offered We offer three dental plans through Guardian Dental: PPO- Network Access Plan, $50 Deductable, Pays 80% after deductable for basic service and 50% after deductable for major services- Can go anywhere in or out of network PPO-Value Plan, $50 Deductable Pays 100% after deductable for basic services and 80% after deductable for Major services - must stay in network Both plans cost $28.53/month for employee only DHMO - $5 co-pay - all service are based off of a Fee Schedule Plan costs $9.82/month for employee only!!
Vision Insurance Offered We offer a discount Vision plan through Guardian $20 Copay with $120 towards frames per every other year $120 towards contact lenses once a year This plan is $5.02/month for employee only!!
Retirement Plan Offered We know planning for your future is important which is why we offer a retirement plan through Sentry with quality investment options.
Sick Leave Offered Occasionally, due to personal illness or injury or other serious family emergencies, it may become difficult for an employee to fulfill their scheduled work time. The company provides accrued time away from work when needed for family emergencies or personal illness. Paid Time Off begins accruing on the first of the month following 90 days of continuous full time employment with the company. This time accrues at the rate of 2 hours per full calendar month for a maximum of 3 days.
Vacation Offered As a benefit to full time employees, Mike Calvert Toyota provides for paid time for full time employees to enjoy personal time away from work. 1 Year of employment - 1 Week vacation 2 Years of employment - 2 Weeks vacation 10 Years of employment - 3 Weeks vacation
