About Us

Founded in 1976, Metric Motors has built their business on the referrals of their customers. Being voted the Best Auto Repair Shop in Loveland for the last 10 years in a row confirms that. Originally the only import shop in Loveland, Metric Motors soon began taking care of domestic cars at our customer’s request. In 2016, Metric Motors grew by purchasing a local tire shop, Loveland Tire and Service, so that we could better meet the needs of our customers. We’re excited about the next chapter and are planning on positioning Metric Motors for EV service soon. We have an ever-growing fleet of 10 free loaner cars for customers that we offer for any service. This builds great customer loyalty, helps us to sell more work when a customer brings their car in, and really helps us to reduce the pressure of customer’s completion expectations. Metric Motors has 12 bays, with 6 2-post lifts, 1 in-ground, 3 Mid-rise, and a Hunter HawkEye alignment rack. We try to keep our shop tools up to date and have several scan and scope tools. We operate best with 5 technicians and 3 service advisors. Our shop hours are 8:00 to 5:30 Monday through Friday. No weekends! An hour for lunch daily. Periodic shop meetings on Wednesday mornings before opening. We pay lube/tire and apprentice techs hourly. A through C techs are paid on a tiered flat-rate with a 28 hour guarantee. If you’d like to be a valued member of a great team with an eye towards the future, Check out Metric Motors and see if we’re right for each other.
