  • Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

    Applications are completed online and can be completed in 15 minutes.

  • Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

    Yes, after the application is reviewed, phone interviews are conducted.

  • What do your in-person interviews entail?

    In person interviews last about a half hour to an hour. During that time we review the resume, discuss the job in detail and discuss the applicants goals and expectations.

  • Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

    Drug screening and background checks are performed for all candidates.

  • Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

    We do not perform skill assessment before hiring. Skill assessment is conducted during the interview.

  • After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

    Typically we will inform the applicant of our decision within 48 hours

  • Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

    The full hiring process takes approximately 3 weeks or less depending on the extensiveness of the background check.

  • Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

    The workshop is air conditioned and heated.

  • What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

    There are currently 24 technicians comprised of 3 teams.

  • What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

    Workshop shop hours are 8 - 5 Monday thru Saturday with a 5 day rotating shift.

  • What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

    We provide all specialty tools required by the manufacturer.

  • What type of break room facility is provided?

    We have two breakrooms available

  • How many bays does your shop have?

    40 bays 2 alignment racks

  • How many repair orders do you average per month?

    We average 1400 RO's /month

  • What is your parts ordering process?

    Parts are ordered directly thru the parts department electronically

  • What is your policy on side work?

    Side work is not allowed at our facility

  • Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

    Happy work environment and great location

  • Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

    We offer online factory training courses and factory led instructor classes after 1 year of employment

  • Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

    We pride ourselves with advancement from within.

  • Can you describe your performance review process?

    We conduct yearly performance reviews conducted by our management team and reviewed with each employee. Discussions will include areas of success and areas that require improvement along with an action plan.

  • What type of safety training is required?

    All employees at our store are required to complete online environmental health and safety training. There are also supplemental safety video's available.

  • Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

    We work with a team system comprising of a Master Certified Team Leader that mentor younger techs. We also participate in an apprentice program.

  • How does your shop get involved with the local community?

    We support and participate in local care clubs and chamber of commerce.

  • Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

    We are involved with a local trade college and UTI. We also participate the the Mercedes Benz Technician Training program.

  • Where do you see the shop in five years?

    The growth for our shop has a great upside with both customers and technicians. Based on the great product Mercedes provides to our customers, the upside is great.

  • A Level Technician
    Pay Range: $70,730 - $175,000/year

    • Master Certified Technician has successfully completed all manufacturer MCT training and possesses all skill levels to perform Mercedes Benz bumper to bumper repairs. • Requires a minimum of 5 years as a Certified Mercedes Benz Technician

  • B Level Technician
    Pay Range: $60,330 - $125,000/year

    • Classified as a Certified Technician and has successfully completed all training either through a Mercedes Benz accredited program, ASE accredited program , possess a degree from an automotive accredited college or has certified credentials and training from a High Line manufacture • Requires 3 years or more as an automotive technician

  • C Level Technician
    Pay Range: $58,250 - $75,000/year

    • Classified as a mid-level Technician and has successfully completed either basic manufacture training, ASE training or accredited automotive college and company required training. • Requires 2 years or more as an automotive technician.

  • Lube Technician
    Pay Range: $31,200 - $35,370/year

    Entry-Level Technician • Classified as an Entry-Level Technician must possess mechanical aptitude, willingness to take in house training and learn the necessary skills to become a qualified technician. Primary function will be Express Service. $17.00 $0.00 $0.00 $0.00 Tire Technician • Must possess mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn the necessary skills to become a qualified tire technician. Primary function will be tire removals/installations.

Retirement Plan Offered Administered by Fidelity Investments, all employees are eligible to participate in the Plan upon hire. There is no waiting period! Contributions are made voluntarily by employees through payroll deductions each pay period. The company will match a portion of your contributions dollar-for-dollar immediately upon contributing to the Plan.
Sick Leave Offered All employees receive 3 sick days every calendar year.
Vacation Offered Regular full-time employees accrue paid vacations in accordance with the following policy: 0-6 months no accrual 6 months-1 year 5 days (40 hours) 2-4 years 10 days per year (80 hours) 5 years-or more 15 days per year (120 hours)

ST / LT Disability Offered Group Long-Term Disability -If your disability extends beyond 90 days, the employer-paid LTD coverage pays a monthly benefit of 60% of your monthly salary, up to maximum of $10,000 per month. Pre-existing condition excluded. You can also purchase additional coverage.
Life Insurance Offered In the event of your death, life insurance will provide your family members or other beneficiaries with financial protection and security. If your death is a result of an accident or if you become dismembered, your AD&D may apply. Employer Paid Term Life and AD&D: - Life insurance: Death benefit paid to your beneficiaries is a fixed amount of $50,000. - AD&D: Up to 1x annual salary to a maximum of $150,000 You can also purchase additional coverage.
