1 Fleet Manager 3 Fleet Mechanics
Typically 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. M-F. Start and end times can be flexible.
We provide specialty tools and equipment. Our Fleet Mechanics provide their own tools/toolboxes.

Side work at our location is at the discretion of the Fleet Manager. Side work at a different shop is allowed as long as it doesn't interfere with Mega Rentals work schedule.
Every day at Mega Rentals, Inc. is different. Work is done on all sizes of equipment/vehicles to support our heavy/highway construction operation. Our fleet consists of Class 1-8 vehicles. The equipment we work on includes trailers, message boards and arrow boards. We do lots of fabrication in our shop. Fleet mechanics get the opportunity to travel between branch locations, so there is some in-state travel, but no overnights.
Yes, vendor clinics during work hours and NTEA webinars. We utilize and offer training on the following: -Tenna -Alldata program -Snap-On scanners -IDSS scan tool for Isuzu trucks
Opportunities to work on different types of equipment/vehicles. Additionally, we offer paid CDL training. Mega Rentals has CDL Trainers and Examiners on staff. We are able to offer this paid training to interested employees.
Annual performance reviews are conducted with Fleet Manager. Informal feedback given frequently.
Annual company-wide safety training, First Aid/CPR, fall protection, forklift certification, etc. Weekly toolbox talks and access to company Safety Director.
We have a collaborative work environment. Many on the job training opportunities due to the different equipment/vehicles.
Our company supports local charitable causes.
We are in the process of establishing a Youth Apprenticeship program for Auto Techs.
We would like to expand our capacity by hiring more Fleet Mechanics.
For employees that wish to obtain their CDL or currently have a CDL, we offer a CDL Reimbursement Program. We pay for written tests, DOT physical exams, and the CDL portion of license renewal fees. We have CDL Trainers and Examiners on staff. We will provide a CDL vehicle to take the driving test.
Mega Rentals, Inc. has a short form application that takes approximately 5 minutes to complete.
We typically schedule a phone screen with applicants.
We have candidates participate in an in-person interview. That interview is with the Fleet Manager and our Human Resource Generalist.
After submitting an application, candidates will be asked to complete a short questionnaire. Offers of employment are contingent on candidate passing a background check, drug testing and physical exam.
We assess skills as part of the interview process and candidate provided experience.
