We operate with a MPI ordering system. Both the technician and/or the service advisor can order the parts needed for repairs. We will receive parts as soon as possible, and when they come in the person who ordered the part will be notified.

There are 30 day, 90 day, and quarterly reviews. During the 30 and 90 day reviews we discuss area's of improvement, as well as, action items and goals for the technician. Our Quarterly reviews mainly focus on the goals discussed and what we have to do to hit them.
Human resource training that is completed during technicians orientation. Additional OSHA training is provided as well.
Apprentice will team up with a foreman or team lead. They will work side by side and junior technician will be able to learn hands on, and ask any additional questions during repairs. With this comes a hybrid pay plan that includes an hourly and flat-rate pay scale. That way technicians can ease into the flat-rate structure.

Yes, typically done with fixed ops direction. Discussion includes quick touch points on technicians resume, driving record for insurance purposes, and if they can drive a manual transmission.
This is completed with the fixed ops director and one of the service managers. We discuss work history, technicians skill set, what their comfortable with, and diagnosis questions. We also discuss career paths and goals that the technician would like to achieve.

McCurley Auto Dealerships is looking for motivated Automotive Technicians to join our team. Serving the greater Pasco area for over 40 years, we have become a staple in our community when it comes to servicing and vehicle repair needs. Come join a team that values their technicians and opportunity is endless. Responsibilities: -We work on all makes and models, and on a wide variety of repairs. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: -Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy -Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning in a timely manner -Communication with Owner (who serves as Service Writer, Mechanic, and Support to Techs) -Road test vehicles when required, demonstrate extreme care around high end vehicles. -Perform quality inspections of vehicle repairs prior to returning the vehicle to the customer, as well as ensuring customers vehicle is kept clean -Ensure that required documentation is completed and accurate -Reports machine defects and malfunctions -Maintain up-to-date knowledge about our industry, leverage key resources like Mitchell/ProDemand and Identifix to assist with repairs -Ensure that workspace is kept clean and equipment and tools are kept in good condition and stored properly -Contribute as needed to support the needs of a fast moving, small business (support of shop priorities, colleagues, customers, etc.) Qualifications: Successful candidates for the Automotive Technician position will have: -Experience as an automotive technician -ASE/Manufacturer Certifications (Preferred) -Diagnostic ability -Troubleshooting skills -Commitment to quality -Team player/Reliable schedule -Good verbal and written skills -Basic computer knowledge -Personal set of tools (though shop contributes specialty tools, etc.) -Valid/Clean driver’s license Benefits: -Excellent pay -Health/Dental/Vision -Retirement plan -Paid holidays -Paid Vacation -Continued training -Uniforms provided If this sounds like you we would be happy to answer any additional question, and bring you in for a tour of our facility.
