Hiring Process
  • Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

    Our application form is online and typically takes between 10-15 minutes to fill out.

  • Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

    No, unless the applicant is out of state.

  • What do your in-person interviews entail?

    Just getting to know you better and what you're looking for as well as letting you know about our store culture and company. We will go over our benefits and what is offered, then a shop tour & Q&A.

  • Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

    We do background checks and drug screening

  • Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

    No

  • After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

    Typically within 1-5 days

  • Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

    7-10 days depending on the background check and drug screening times

  • Is there anything else you’d like to mention about your hiring process?

    We offer a very casual environment where you are able to really get a good feel for our shop and culture without any pressure.

  • Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

    Heated and swamp coolers

  • What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

    12-18 techs

  • What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

    Monday - Friday - 7:00 am -6:00 pm -- Techs work 7:00 am - 5:00 pm Saturday - 8:00 am - 5:00 pm -- Techs work 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Rotating Saturday shifts

  • What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

    Most all of the special service tools

  • What type of break room facility is provided?

    Large breakroom with fridge, sink, microwave and vending machines

  • How many bays does your shop have?

    23 bays plus alignment rack

  • How many repair orders do you average per month?

    Average 1100 - 1300

  • What is your parts ordering process?

    There is 600k in inventory and we order as needed from the depot

  • What is your policy on side work?

    It is allowed outside or working hours/days with an RO

  • Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

    Yes and the training facility is down the street from the shop.

  • Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

    We invest in our team and want them to succeed in whatever path they want to follow.

  • Can you describe your performance review process?

    Reviews are twice a year. The Service Manager though is very active within the department with daily conversations with team members.

  • What type of safety training is required?

    Safety training is provided quarterly.

  • Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

    We have a very successful mentor and apprenticeship program that has really grown some talented techs.

  • How does your shop get involved with the local community?

    Group wide we have an annual day of service where we participate in a variety of services throughout the community. We also look for opportunities to volunteer or donate throughout the year.

  • Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

    Work with local tech schools and continue to inspire young people to get involved in the automotive industry.

    We will continue to grow the shop and maintain the outstanding reputation we have in the community. We will continue to have a strong team that enjoys coming in and working hard each day while enjoying some fun employee events along the way

    Pay Range: $72,800 - $83,200/year ($35.00 - $40.00/hr)
    ($35.00 - $40.00/hr)

    $35-$40 per hour

  • B Level Technician
    Pay Range: $52,000 - $72,800/year ($25.00 - $35.00/hr)
    ($25.00 - $35.00/hr)

    $25-$35 per hour
