The Service Manager supervises the operations of the service department toward achieving the objectives of the dealership’s annual budget and goals of the business plan. Performs directly related work as required. The Service Manager works under the direction of the Fixed Operations Director with some leeway for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative while supervising the work of employees in the department. An employee in this job must establish and maintain effective working relationships with Executive Managers, the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Department Managers, department staff, appropriate support and other operating division staff, customers, manufacturers, vendors and the public.
