Hiring Process
  • Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

    Yes, we provide an online application process that is simple and streamlined. Estimated time to complete is 20-30 minutes.

  • Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

    Yes, we prefer Zoom or FaceTime for the initial interview.

  • What do your in-person interviews entail?

    We typically follow up on our previous interview, provide a tour of the facilities and some introductions to management to let the applicant get a feel for our culture.

  • Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

    All of the above.

  • Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

    We do not perform a skill assessment other than to review any training records that are available.

  • After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

    Depending on the number of applicants we receive, any where from 1 - 2 weeks.

  • Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

    3-4 days depending on how quickly an applicant can complete the drug screen and the time it takes for the results. Out of state applicants can take longer.

  • Is there anything else you’d like to mention about your hiring process?

    We provide a welcome letter and a pay plan in writing and do our best to have the on boarding process complete at the time of starting the new job.

  • Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

    Our shop is both heated and air conditioned.

  • What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

    Our fixed operations team consists of 30 people.

  • What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

    Open M-F 7-6. Sat 8-3 Tech schedule typically 8-5 and we rotate techs on Saturdays and offer a day off the following week, usually Friday.

  • What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

    State of the art tire mounting and balancing equipment, Hunter WA480 Alignment rack, Hot Shot cabinet parts cleaner, Rotory lift and all essential special tools required to get the job done right.

  • What type of break room facility is provided?

    Technician lounge with refrigerator, microwave oven and large screen TV with cable. Recently remodeled tech locker room with private lockers.

  • How many bays does your shop have?

    28

  • How many repair orders do you average per month?

    800

  • What is your parts ordering process?

    We use eLeads ShopOne for quoting and authorizing repairs. Parts requests are processed within the ShopOne tool.

  • What is your policy on side work?

    We allow technicians to work on their own vehicles registered to household providing it does not interfere with our scheduled appointments. All vehicles must have an open repair order to be in the shop area.

  • Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

    N/A

  • Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

    We offer GM Training provided by the manufacturer and a hands on apprenticeship program.

  • Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

    We have many opportunities for growth and several career paths within the dealership. Automotive Service, Parts sales for service customers, retail and wholesale, auto sales and finance if someone wishes to expand into other areas of the business.

  • Can you describe your performance review process?

    We love to grow talent and reward along the way. We do have official annual reviews but our review process is ongoing daily, weekly, monthly. Management is very hands on and available to provide feedback and coaching each day.

  • What type of safety training is required?

    We provide quarterly safety briefings and monitor a train safety daily.

  • Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

    We grow our lube techs by graduating them from Quick Lube to apprenticeship. Depending on experience and level of interest in any specific area, we will team an apprentice with a technician for a few months and then evaluate, possibly team that apprentice with another tech with a different specialty. This allows the apprentice hands on experience in multiple areas and options of what course they wish to pursue.

  • Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

    We partner with the CADA Clear the Air Foundation. Clear the Air Foundation works side by side with the ASEP program at Arapahoe Community college . Each year they hand out Tool scholarship programs that excel in their field within their dealership. I believe they are granted up to $2,000 in tool credit with Snap On

    We will continue to focus on growing the company by continually developing and maintaining a spectacular customer and employee experience.

    We value our all of our employees and understand that continuing to developed our technicians while supporting the community are vital to our success.

  • A Level Technician
    Pay Range: $55,000 - $100,000/year

    John Elway Cadillac of Park Meadows is looking for experienced technicians. We have decided to start a remodel of a brand new facility which will be one of five new-build stand-alone Cadillac facilities in the country and only one in the state! We are growing and need team players to help in our goal of future growth. Having experience with GM, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC is a major plus. We have a loyal following for Cadillac and GM work and want a professional Technician who is looking for more out of their career! Time to get off the bench and hit the field running! The requirements for an A level technician are; Current ASE Certifications 5 Years minimum journeyman experience (dealership preferred) Engine and Transmission experience preferred. Must be committed to continued education provided by brand manufacturer.

  • B Level Technician
    Pay Range: $35,000 - $55,000/year

    John Elway Cadillac of Park Meadows is looking for experienced technicians. We have decided to start a remodel of a brand new facility which will be one of five new-build stand-alone Cadillac facilities in the country and only one in the state! We are growing and need team players to help in our goal of future growth. Having experience with GM, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC is a major plus. We have a loyal following for Cadillac and GM work and want a professional Technician who is looking for more out of their career! Time to get off the bench and hit the field running! The requirements for an B level technician are; Current ASE Certifications 2 years minimum experience in general and light line (dealership apprenticeship preferred) Must be committed to continued education provided by brand manufacturer.

  • C Level Technician
    Pay Range: $29,000 - $35,000/year

We have decided to start a remodel of a brand new facility which will be one of five new-build stand-alone Cadillac facilities in the country and only one in the state! We are growing and need team players to help in our goal of future growth. Having experience with GM, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC is a major plus. We have a loyal following for Cadillac and GM work and want a professional Technician who is looking for more out of their career! Time to get off the bench and hit the field running! The requirements for an C level technician are; Currently enrolled in or graduate of a vocational automotive training program. Committed to continued automotive education and training provided by brand manufacturer. Minimal tools required, some can be provided by us.
