It is both heated and air conditioned, kept at a comfortable 72-74 degrees year round.

Our team is about 30 people total

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

Shop hours and shifts would be 8:00am - 5:30pm Monday-Friday, and 8:00am -1:00pm Saturdays Lube techs work Saturdays with a day off during the week, and other levels of technicians will rotate Saturdays.

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

All specialty tools are readily available. We pride ourselves on keeping tools and equipment in great condition - they almost all seem brand new!

What type of break room facility is provided?

Our break room has a table, chair, refrigerator, microwave, ice machine, and other standard amenities, plus a big flat screen TV.

How many bays does your shop have?

17 bays

How many repair orders do you average per month?

What is your parts ordering process?

Parts needed will be electronically ordered, and the Parts Department will handle the procurement.

What is your policy on side work?

While you can work on a personal vehicle off-hours, no side work may be done in the shop.

Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

Our shop is extremely clean and orderly. All tools and equipment are kept in great condition as well.

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

Training is always encouraged, both as in-house learning through shadowing and through online platforms. For outside training technicians are interested in, the shop will cover costs such as travel and lodging. We will pay for training, including ASE certifications.

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

We always look to promote from within. At our shop, we have technicians who have been promoted into service advisors and service managers.

Can you describe your performance review process?

We conduct a 90 day performance review for new hires, and then follow with a 6 month and 1 year review.

What type of safety training is required?

We continuously review safety at the shop with our team members, and manufacturer training is also provided.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

We have seasoned technicians who are available to support and guide new technicians, whether it's answering questions or providing feedback on their work.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

We try to support our community when possible, including many different sponsorships.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

We work with local tech schools for job shadowing opportunities, and have even hired students to join our team!

Where do you see the shop in five years?

We hope to be continuing to grow our business and add new team members to get the work done!

Training - will pay for ASEs/ training, if a tech wants to grow skills shop will help make that happen

Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

We have an online application that takes only about 5-10 minutes to complete.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

During an in-person interview we will meet with the candidate to find out about their work experience, skills, and career interests. It will also be a chance for the candidate to ask questions and get to know us. This lasts about 20-30 minutes.

There are none for technicians, but potentially may be for other roles such as Service Advisor.

This is done verbally during the interview process.

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $55,000.00 - $100,000.00/year ($26.44 - $48.08/hr)

Flat rate; compensation may be dependent on efficiency, experience, and training/certifications.

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $42,000.00 - $70,000.00/year ($20.19 - $33.65/hr)

Flat rate; compensation may be dependent on efficiency, experience, and training/certifications.

C Level Technician
C Level Technicians are more of entry level technicians. C Level Technicians’ responsibilities typically include basic maintenance, alignments, brake and suspension work, along with other base level repairs.
Pay Range: $38,000.00 - $50,000.00/year ($18.27 - $24.04/hr)

Hourly; compensation may be dependent on efficiency, experience, and training/certifications.

Lube Technician
Lube Technicians are entry level technicians that focus on routine maintenance such as oil changes, changing tires, and inspections.
Pay Range: $32,000.00 - $38,000.00/year ($15.38 - $18.27/hr)

Service Advisor
Service Advisors are primarily customer focused and, as one of the faces of the shop, they are critical in keeping customers happy. Service Advisors are frequently focused on taking customer calls, relaying information to technicians, and selling repair jobs. Both technical and sales experience are helpful for this position.
Pay Range: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00/year

Compensation is based on a commission structure, but Service Advisors will be guaranteed at least $40,000/annually.

Student Tech / Apprentice
Student technicians work on entry level tasks while completing their school programs.
Pay Range: $13.00 - $15.00/hour

We enjoy bringing student technicians on our team! They will have the chance to work directly with an A Level Technician. Our in-house training is paid.
