Huckstorf Diesel Pump & Injector Service is located just south of Milwaukee, in Franklin Wisconsin. In 1979 we started our business rebuilding the injection pumps and injectors for the GM and Ford light and medium duty trucks and diesel cars of that era. Since then, we have built a strong reputation as one of the premier diesel injection shops and drive-in service centers in the Midwest. Huckstorf Diesel Pump & Injector Service is an authorized service dealer for all the major diesel injection manufactures. Our technicians are trained, have the parts and equipment necessary to rebuild your injection pumps, turbochargers, and injectors properly along with light and medium duty diesel vehicle repairs. Similar to when cars switched from carburetors to fuel injection, the diesel has evolved from being controlled by mechanical fuel injection systems to electronic fuel management systems. This significantly changed the equipment and expertise needed to repair these systems. Huckstorf Diesel Pump & Injector Service is dedicated to keeping up with changes in the industry and continues our tradition of diesel service excellence. In 2001 we hired our first drive in service technician, and soon after in 2002 we doubled the size of our facility with the new drive-in service center. Key personnel have been hired with a variety of backgrounds including automotive dealership and heavy-duty truck experience. Their knowledge combined with our injection shop background created a winning team for servicing all your diesel repair needs. Our drive in service work has exploded and we are booked out past four weeks for appointments. We have openings for technicians with GM Duramax, Dodge / Ram Cummins, Ford Powerstroke, Volkswagen TDI, or general light and medium duty diesel experience. Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair diesel pickup trucks, medium duty vehicles, and diesel cars. Advanced diesel engine repairs and or replacements. Repair brake systems, steering systems, and drive line repairs. Install EPA compliant aftermarket performance upgrades such as exhaust systems, computer chips and programmers, gauge installations, and much more. Qualifications: Previous experience as an automotive technician, mechanic Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment Strong mechanical aptitude, electrical knowledge, and troubleshooting skills Deadline and detail-oriented Our top level technicians are paid on a flat rate based pay system where we use All Data labor guide as just that, a guide. The technician has one hour to start diagnostics and formulate a repair plan with the service manager for what parts and labor are needed before contacting the customer. Sometimes more time is needed to pinpoint the problem, and other times the repair is clear. Our system insures the technician is in agreement for the labor time before the job is sold. Once the customer gives approval the parts are ordered by the service manager and the technician begins work. If there is a situation where the labor time needs to be increased, the technician and the service manager makes a new estimate for the customer to approve. Once approval is received work continues. This system is much different than a dealership system where the labor guide is the bible and set in stone. A talented technician with ambition can book many hours and prosper without the fear of feeling cheated. Contact us if you are interested in a career in diesel repairs. 800-776-7102 Mark@HDiesel.com

Flat-rate pay structure, and incentive program based on hours flagged. Employees paid biweekly. Pay rate is $30 to $40 per hour base pay before incentives and benefits. Incentive plan: Up to 79.9 hours billed in a pay period = base pay. 80.1-90 billed hours in two week pay period earns an additional $2 an hour 90.1-100 flagged an additional $3 an hour 100.1-110 flagged an additional $4 an hour 110.1+ flagged an additional $5 an hour Incentive is paid for every hour paid for the entire two weeks. Example, for someone earning $35 per hour and books 85 hours, they get paid $37 x 85. If you book 111 hours you would be paid $40 x 111. An A level technician is experienced and is the person who is training others, not the one being trained. Everyone needs help sometimes, and as a team we all contribute ideas if needed. The level A tech is a leader and typically operates without guidance. How much you earn is up to you. If you put in the time and work hard there are no limits on earnings.

A B level technician is a person with mechanical knowledge and has some experience. With guidance this level technician can handle most jobs. We purposely start this level technician on an hourly pay rate instead of flat rate. We want to stress quality work over speed. An hourly technician does not get the incentive increase. Our goal is to get all technicians onto the flat rate system in one year or less. We track everyone's time as if they were on flat rate and we can easily see when the time is right to switch over. Also a pay increase happens when going from hourly to flat rate. Hourly technicians are limited to 40 hours per week. Overtime is not available.
