We have specialized in the service and repair of ONLY German made vehicles for 33 years. Our shop is fairly large, with 6 twin post lifts and 1 four post lift. We currently have 2 outstanding technicians, with room for just one more. Our shop stays full most all of the time, so there will be ample work available for our next technician. We keep our shop and showroom clean and neat.

    Yes, We have our shop foreman sit down with the applicant and review their experience and basic knowledge or the repair of German vehicles

    No more than a few days at the most.

  • Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

    Immediate

  • Is there anything else you’d like to mention about your hiring process?

    We do require our applicants to have extensive experience repairing German made automobiles. Without this experience, we could not use them as we are a German only made vehicle repair shop.

  • Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

    The shop is heated. Each technician has a port-a-cool air cooling unit available in their work area.

  • What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

    In the office is the owner and manager/service writer. There are currently 2 technicians in the shop with room for one more.

  • What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

    We are open 7:30AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Closed on weekends.

  • What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

    We supply diagnostic equipment, electrical system analyzer, A/C charging station, power brake bleeder, vices, presses, bench grinder, strut replacement compressor, specialty tools and more.

  • What type of break room facility is provided?

    Kitchen with table and chairs, refrigerator, microwave, toaster and mini oven. A sink is also there. All standard kitchen flatware and utensils are available. It is air conditioned and heated. We make coffee every morning.

  • How many bays does your shop have?

    We are in a nice size warehouse with six 2 post lifts and one 4 post. Each technician is assigned 2 of the twin post lifts and the 4 post is shared by all

  • How many repair orders do you average per month?

    It varies from 150-175, depending on the size of the jobs. We steadily have work available, and our output is mostly only limited to what our current 2 technicians are able to complete

  • What is your parts ordering process?

    The technician is given a work order for each vehicle. He turns in the work order with all parts and labor needed, and the owner and manager estimate, sell and order, plus they complete the invoice and transaction with the customer

  • What is your policy on side work?

    While we discourage it, we cannot tell you what to do with your own time. Soliciting side work from our customers is strictly prohibited.

  • Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

    The shop is kept clean and neat. The technicians are expected to do so for their work area. Each technician has a Port-A-Cool air cooling unit, and the 4 post has its own. Smoking is not allowed inside. There is an airconditioned and heated service office with a computer for technicians to do their research.

  • Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

    As we are a growing company, We always strive to be on the cutting edge of the latest diagnostic and repair process available. Along with this, does come the training and education of these processes and the knowledge associated with them.

  • Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

    Growth within our company is contingent of work ethic and skill level obviously. As our employees skill level grows, and work capability excels, also will their pay within the company

    Reviews of employee performance are on a case by case review.

    Basic shop safety is a standard required policy

  • A Level Technician
    Pay Range: $85,000 - $125,000/year

    Pay scale is done by book time at an agreed hourly rate, depending on the technicians skill level and experience.

  • B Level Technician
    Pay Range: $60,000 - $90,000/year

    Pay scale is done by book time at an agreed hourly rate, depending on the technicians skill level and experience.
