  • Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

Yes, we do an initial phone screening to determine if the applicant has the qualifications required for the position available. It's also an opportunity for the applicant to see if we are a good fit for them as well.

  • What do your in-person interviews entail?

The in-person interview will entail a meeting with the owner and Service Manager, and may last up to 1 hour. There can be up to 3 in-person interviews, with 1 being a working interview. We will provide compensation for the working interview.

  • Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

Candidates should be open to any or all of those being conducted.

  • Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

    Conditional to the situation.

  • After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

    Typically within 2-3 days.

  • Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

    Typically within a week.

  • Is there anything else you’d like to mention about your hiring process?

Will pay for the working interview if candidate makes it to that step.

  • What is your parts ordering process?

Once the Service Advisor sells the job, the RO is sent to the Parts Advisor with any required notes such parts are needed ASAP or the job not coming in until tomorrow.. This allows the Parts Advisor to prioritize the ordering process for needed parts. An additional benefit to having our Parts Advisor is looking for dealer or special order parts. The Technician can ask for the Parts Advisor to search for a part he/she needs. The parts advisor will research the part, print a picture and confirm with the tech it is correct before ordering.

  • What is your policy on side work?

We allow staff to use the shop for personal vehicles with prior notice only due to insurance. All staff pays the cost for parts only (no mark-up)

We also have a Christmas Party and buy lunch for Birthdays (for the whole staff) and have team building outings from time to time!

  • Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

We offer continuous training opportunities. We have a Shop Foreman and Lead Diagnostic Technician who will assist with training any technicians as needed. We strongly believe no one should be left alone to figure things out.

  • How does your shop get involved with the local community?

Our shop has very strong ties to our community. When Covid first hit we rose up in our community to support ALL local businesses. We bought hundreds of gift certificates from local struggling restaurants and gave them away to our customers. We purchased hundreds of hours of marketing time for a digital truck billboard and donated all that time to the restaurants. We gave away hundreds of free oil changes to health care workers. We provided free meals for Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas to all those in need in our community including our senior center. We have carried this tradition on and now do this every year for those in need. We have a toy drive every year that provides toys for kids in need. This past year we provided toys for over 200 kids. Our commitment to our community has been key to our success. We truly love the community we are a part of and continue to work to make it the best it can be.
