  • Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

Yes we do. No sense in wasting either of our time if the feeling isn't mutual over the phone. We believe a phone call is better than texting, e-mailing or just resume reviewing only.

  • What do your in-person interviews entail?

Maybe I am old school but a firm hand shake and eye contact when talking to one another is very important. How we (CFT Repair) and you carry and conduct ourselves in person is also very important during the in-person interviews. If you show that care about the person your are communicating with, then more than likely you will care about the vehicles you work on.

  • Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

Background checks and drug screening we do not. We have performed personality tests in the past. When we decide to do a personality tests again, it helps you understand the management team a little bit better and for us to focus more on individual strengths and a better understanding of you as an individual. If you are 100% against it, no worries. We want it to be a Win - Win.

  • Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

That will be determined per the applicant and decided during the in person interview.

  • After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

Could be on the spot, but typically management likes to discuss the applicant with the owners (2) before giving the green light. Time frame up to 48 hours or 2 days.

  • Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

Depending on the needs of the company, the strength of the applicant and the ability for the in person interview. 72 hours or 3 days.

  • Is there anything else you’d like to mention about your hiring process?

If you are currently employed and want to make the change to CFT Repair, we believe that you should give your 2 week notice to your previous employer. However, that is strictly up to you. We believe in good Karma and would want the same respect if someone decides to leave us. Treat others the way you want to be treated.
