  • Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

    Heated floors and air conditioned.

  • What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

    6 Techs 1 GM 1 Front Office Manager 1 Appraiser

  • What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

    8:00am-5:00pm (Monday-Friday) NO WEEKENDS!!!!

  • What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

    We provide all major tools and equipment. Things like frame machines, gys machines for example.

  • What type of break room facility is provided?

    Fridge, microwave, table, chairs, coffee maker

  • How many bays does your shop have?

    8

  • How many repair orders do you average per month?

    50+

  • What is your parts ordering process?

    Technician will write up repair order and get it over to the appraiser to approve and order the parts. A parts specialist will order parts need and check them in when they are received.

  • What is your policy on side work?

    Personal work is fine with another employee present. We do run a two person policy for insurance reasons.

  • Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

    Our company always promotes advancing a technicians skill set. We provide ICAR training that is provided by the company. ASE's are also encouraged to receive.

  • Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

    Depending on the candidate that are always opportunities to advance. We will help set up career paths for all of our technicians. Opportunities in our offices, or appraisal positions can be options for the right candidate.

  • Can you describe your performance review process?

    Currently we do not run a formal review process. If issues arise we will handle them right away. Discussion about performance, productivity, and goals is ongoing in the shop.

  • What type of safety training is required?

    Respirator fit test annually, and ICAR safety training

  • Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

    Experienced technicians can have the option to mentor entry level techs in the shop, and they will receive a pay difference for helping out. They will work side-by-side through repairs and junior techs can ask additional questions.

  • How does your shop get involved with the local community?

    Donations through Facebook.

  • Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

    We work with our local technical school and have setup an apprentice program.

  • Where do you see the shop in five years?

    We are always looking to increase our client list and shop business. With this goal we are also looking to add additional motivated, hardworking, employees.

  • Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

    Typical application form that takes about 15 minutes to complete.

  • Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

    Very light phone screen done by our director of operations. Discussion includes finding out the candidates interest level, and brief discussion about their background.

  • What do your in-person interviews entail?

    In-person interviews are done by the director of operations and the locations general manager. We take a deeper dive into their background, experience, skill set, and goals. We also include a shop tour.

  • Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

    Background checks, and drug screens.

  • Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

    Depending on the candidate and the position we are hiring for there may be a light assessment.

  • After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

    30 days max depending on how quickly the role needs to be filled, and when we get back the background check and drug screen.

    Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000/year

    Flat-rate pay structure Based on experience, skill set, and certifications

  • B Level Technician
    Pay Range: $60,000 - $80,000/year

    Flat-rate pay structure Based on experience, skill set, and certifications

  • Collision Technician - A Level
    Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000/year

    Flat-rate pay structure Based on experience, skill set, and certifications
