We do not allow side work, but do allow access to our building if you wish to work on your own vehicle
We offer access to training classes and seminars. APEX and SEMA in 2021 with more to come next year. We have sent our technicians to training in San Diego, Chicago, Denver just to name a few places! We pay for each ASE certification and will schedule for you. We also pay for re-certifications. We have access to Transformers Institute which is a consulting and training company for sales advisors and technicians.

Aspen Auto Clinic utilizes "Catalytic Coaching" which involves the employee and manager input equally.
During on-boarding and orientation you will receive training over the safe use of lifts and equipment and how to safely navigate the service area.
Each location has a highly trained (Usually L1 or higher) Master Technician that is responsible for working with new hires and showing them the ropes. Foreman are available for and provide detailed training.
Aspen Auto Clinic is involved in multiple charities. We are involved in Adopt-a-trail to help keep our mountain community clean. We offer women's car care classes. New driver car care basics. We provide free work for Tessa, a women's shelter local to Colorado Springs, donating $15k in repairs. We are also involved with a charity that helps less fortunate children receive Christmas presents.
We sponsor a scholarship for Pikes Peak Community College each year.

Our application form is on our website. It generally takes 15 - 20 minutes to complete.
1st interview is generally over the phone where a more casual conversation is had to determine the applicant and Aspens needs and match for each other.
Our in-person interviews can last as long as 2 hours, but are usually conducted and completed within 90 minutes. We have very specific questions to ensure there is an overall fit for both Aspen and the applicant. We have strict hiring practices and our decisions are based more on cultural fit than experience.
Background checks and physicals are requirements for each technician.
No formal assessment, but during the in-person interview, specific questions relating to skill level are asked.
Applicants are notified of decisions within 48 hours.
On average, 48 hours. If you are moving from out-of-state, sometimes the background check takes longer.
The hiring process is very deliberate and detailed. We don't just hire anyone and we must be an equal match for each other.
Average performers can come in and make $70k. High-achievers will earn over $100k. Guarantee is also offered for at least 60 days to get acclimated to Aspen Auto Clinic programs and process. Sr. Level Master Technicians typically never have to lean on a guarantee. We have traffic and high performing, fully trained Service Advisors.
Our B-level technicians rarely flag below 75 hours in a pay period.
C - level technicians are as important to us as Master Technicians. We know that the shop is driven by work that is performed or inspected by our C Techs.
