Hiring Process
  • Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

We typically ask for a resume but I do have a one page application if needed.

  • Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

Sometimes - If questions arise from the resume we might want to ask a couple of questions prior to the interview so that we do not waste an applicants time. Or if the applicant lives far away we will begin with a phone interview.

  • What do your in-person interviews entail?

45 minutes with one or both of the owners. We just want to get to know you, show you around and give you the chance to meet our team and ask questions of us and them.

  • Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

Absolutely, every new employee is background checked, and must pass a drug screening. We also check DMV records as well to make sure that the applicant is insurable.

  • Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

No, I do give a skills self assessment as part of the on-boarding process to determine where training is needed or not needed.

  • After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

    Usually less then a week

  • Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

It has only taken a couple of days and has taken a few weeks. It really depends on how many applicants and how long it takes for references to return our calls.

  • Is there anything else you’d like to mention about your hiring process?

Its super simple. We work with an HR company who sends a link for all onboarding payroll documents.
