  • Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

    No formal application, general question that are on Indeed including brief assessment.

  • Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

    We do phone screens, they take about 20-30 minutes. General information about problems faced in previous roles and how they over came them with used critical thinking. Discussion about applicable skills for the role.

  • What do your in-person interviews entail?

    There are two rounds of interviews here. The first is a team interview with a manager and teammate, 2nd round is with HR and COO. All of these can be virtual interviews depending on location and comfort levels. 1st interview really jumps into if the technician will fit well with the team. 2nd round is where the verbal offer will come in and if there are any further questions from the COO.

  • Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

    Background and license check.

  • Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

    Nothing formal, this is optional through Indeed.

  • After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

    Within a couple days to a week.

  • Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

    Decision will be made as soon as possible.

  • Is there anything else you’d like to mention about your hiring process?

    Virtual is an option. This can be for technicians out of the area or for technicians to stay in their comfort zones.

  • Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

    Heated and Air conditioned

  • What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

    Wilmington- 3+ techs, service manager, and parts department Salem, NH- 5+ techs, a shop foreman, service manager, and parts department

  • What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

    Hours are very flexible, with no second or third shifts. Day time shifts can vary based on preference (7:00am.-3:30 is an estimate, but business hours 8:00-4:30), overtime would be available for techs that want to work on Saturday, this is a two tech minimum Weekends are very rare

  • What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

    Techs would have to provide their own set of tools. Welding equipment will be provided.

  • What type of break room facility is provided?

    Wilmington- Full kitchen, table, chairs, fridge, coffee, espresso machine, microwave Salem- Full kitchen, fridge, coffee, espresso machine, microwave

  • How many bays does your shop have?

    Open floor plans at both locations Wilmington- 5

  • How many repair orders do you average per month?

    60-100

  • What is your parts ordering process?

    We have a full parts department that include four people. Techs will be responsible for writing up the repair, this will then get approved by the service manager and sent over to the parts department to get ordered

  • What is your policy on side work?

    Needs manager approval.

  • Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

    We are family owned and operated and have been servicing our communities for the last 10+ years. Everyone is treated as apart of a team and not just a number. Our locations are also close to restaurants for convenient lunches.

  • Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

    On the job training is provided. There is possible tuition reimbursement if it's applicable for the role.

  • Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

    There is plenty of room for growth. We will work with all of our technicians to put them on a career path that best suits them and take additional steps to help them reach all of their career goals.

  • Can you describe your performance review process?

    90 day reviews and annual reviews. Discussion includes what's working, what's not working. Also, taking steps to work towards their goals and long term success.

  • What type of safety training is required?

    CPR, AED, and forklift training which would be option, but suggested. Role specific training is available. DOT medical, Osha 10.

  • Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

    Higher level technicians will work with junior level techs when time permits. We also have technical training that works with technicians as well.

  • How does your shop get involved with the local community?

    Nothing formal currently.

  • Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

    More of this is in the works. We have worked with shop interns and apprentices in the past.

  • Where do you see the shop in five years?

    We are always looking to continually grow. We were opened all through COVID and saw numbers grow from 30+-50+ during the pandemic.

  • A Level Technician
    Pay Range: $45,600 - $88,000/year ($21.92 - $42.31/hr)

    This is an hourly pay structure with overtime available. Pay is based on tenure, experience and certifications

  • B Level Technician
    Pay Range: $55,000 - $70,000/year ($26.44 - $33.65/hr)
    ($26.44 - $33.65/hr)

    This is an hourly pay structure with overtime available. Pay is based on tenure, experience and certifications

  • Lube Technician
    Pay Range: $22 - $25/year

Health Insurance Offered BCBS is our provider. 2 plans available, and a third out of state plan. Plans kick in on date of hire. Employer pays 50%, this is for a single, single and spouse, single and family.
Dental Insurance Offered BCBS is our provider. Starts on day of employment, 50% paid for by employer.
Vision Insurance Offered This is bundled under our health program. This includes 1-2 appointments a year and one set of glasses or contacts.
Retirement Plan Offered 401K with a 4% company match. Both standard 401K or Roth 401K available. Eligible after 90 days of employment.
Sick Leave Offered This is bundled under our PTO program. All employees get three weeks of PTO on a yearly basis. Employee must be employed for 30 days before PTO can be used.
Vacation Offered This is bundled under our PTO program. All employees get three weeks of PTO on a yearly basis. Employee must be employed for 30 days before PTO can be used.
Paid Holidays Offered 8 paid holidays, including one floating holiday, that can be used anytime. This includes all major holidays (New Years, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)
