Our goal is to help you grow from a B-tech to an A-tech ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Properly inspect all vehicles for needed repairs and safety. Properly diagnose and repair all customers' concerns. Complete necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify the repair Perform general vehicle repairs, product installation and servicing as directed by the Service Manager Inform management of any issues with vehicles, mobility equipment or shop equipment. Perform all other duties as assigned. SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS: Strong mechanical aptitude is needed for this position. Excellent communication skills are also a must for this position. This career is a fast-paced and ever-changing position, so quick thinking and problem-solving abilities are necessary for this position. A willingness to learn and apply your knowledge will ensure success. An excellent attendance record is also a must! Automotive Electrical & Welding Experience is a plus. A good driving record is also required. QUALIFICATIONS: Achieve and maintain all training certifications as required by the dealer and manufacturer, along with a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and dealership records per dealership and manufacturers policies and procedures Some ASE Certifications or willingness to become certified in specific categories Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and safety Ability to operate all auto repair tools Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment is a must. State driver's license with a good driving record. (Required) Must be willing to undergo a background check.
