  • Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

    We do not have a standard application, but encourage anyone interested to get in touch with us, with their resume!

    We have 3 parts t our in-person interviews: - Discussing the vision and strategy of our company - Finding out about the candidate's work background, training, skills, and tools - Speaking with the candidate more about the role and answering questions they may have

  • Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

    We do not perform a formal skill assessment, but find out about the applicant's skills during the interview process. We will provide paid on-the-job shadowing as needed.

  • After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

    Within 5-7 business days, if not sooner. We strive to communication quickly and will let you know the decision either way.

  • Is there anything else you’d like to mention about your hiring process?

    We hope a candidate is interviewing the shop as much as we are interviewing the candidate - both sides should believe it's a good fit. We are seeking to create the best shop environment anyone has worked in, and want you to be confident in working for our company.

  • Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

    The shop is kept comfortable year-round, and we have fans to cool off when needed.

  • What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

    We have 6 mechanics (planning to grow our team to have 10-15 techs), detailers, and office staff.

  • What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

    Monday - Friday with some Saturdays Shifts are flexible and may be 6:00am-4:00pm or 8:00am-6:00pm

  • What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

    Most major equipment is provided

  • What type of break room facility is provided?

    Our break room is air conditioned and includes normal amenities, such as table, chairs, refrigerator, microwave, etc. We always keep a fully stocked refrigerator, along with having water and sports drinks around! There is a provided budget for food, so we aim to have a weekly catered lunch.

  • How many bays does your shop have?

    We are currently using 10 bays but have up to 25 to use as we grow our team.

  • How many repair orders do you average per month?

    About 120-170

  • What is your parts ordering process?

    We have a dedicated Parts Manager who will order parts when needed. Parts are usually received same-day, and we aim to make the process as efficient as possible for technicians and out service staff.

  • What is your policy on side work?

    No side work done at the shop.

  • Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

    We do the work we do, and create the environment we're making, to take better care of our customers. We believe in having a culture where staff can mentor others in a supportive, positive environment. We are genuinely trying to create the best shop anyone has ever worked in!

  • Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

    We encourage training for our staff! We will work with our technicians and try to get them connected with the right training, based on the skills and knowledge they're looking to build. We will hire the most junior techs and provide on-the-job training as needed, along with helping them be successful taking certification classes. Also, we will provide interest-free loans to our technicians for purchasing equipment & tools.

  • Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

    We are happy to hire junior technicians - or technicians of any skill level - and help them grow with us. We are a growing company that expects to open more locations throughout Texas and the southeast, and there would be opportunities for our staff at these new locations in the future.

  • Can you describe your performance review process?

    We implement a continuous feedback process to help coach staff, while helping them learn on the job. Our shop has a team mentorship atmosphere where you will be able to regularly learn from the techs around you.

  • What type of safety training is required?

    Safety is a priority at our shop. Safety training is provided as needed, individually and as a group. Our shop layout has been planned based on safety and efficiency, to make work as smooth as possible for our staff.

  • Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

    On-the-job training is provided so younger techs can learn from seasoned techs in our team-oriented shop. Our technicians have a wide variety of skillsets to work on a variety of auto makes and models, but as we work on a narrower selection of vehicles compared to other shops, younger techs can learn best practices quicker.

  • How does your shop get involved with the local community?

    We help customers to give them the car they need, in even better shape than before. We strive to provide the best auto experience to our community members, including those of underserved populations.

  • Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

    We hope to partner more with schools in the future.

  • Where do you see the shop in five years?

    Our shop will be larger than it is today! The shop is at the forefront of our business, and it is so important that we continue to grow our shop and staff. We hope to be doing recon for a variety of dealerships along with warranty work for customers.

    We're here to make cars run so people can get to work, school, or anywhere else they need to be. Our shop is all about doing the right things for our customers, and we're looking for like-minded technicians who want to be a part of that mission.

    Pay Range: $65,000 - $75,000/year ($31.25 - $36.06/hr)

  • B Level Technician
    Pay Range: $38,000 - $64,000/year ($18.27 - $30.77/hr)

  • C Level Technician
    Pay Range: $30,000 - $35,000/year ($14.42 - $16.83/hr)

  • Lube Technician
    Pay Range: $30,000 - $35,000/year ($14.42 - $16.83/hr)

  • Student Tech / Apprentice
    Pay Range: $0 - $0/hour

    We are willing to train student apprentices! Not only will we help you grow in your career, but we will also assist you with buying tools. You will learn everything there is about auto repair when you work with us - there is no better place to start your career than with our shop!
