4Play Off Road started because I was tired of the same day to day work at the dealerships. I started lifting and modifying trucks in 1989. I always enjoyed the work and the happiness it brought to the customer!! So in 2006 I opened 4Play Off Road. We started off doing lift kits, suspension and engine modifications to trucks, Jeeps, Toyotas, and Rock Crawlers. We gained many customers and grew. As customers learned more about my background they started asking me to repair and modify their light truck diesels that they were using to work, play and tow their rigs with. That eventually turned into our specialty, light diesel trucks, especially Dodge-Ram trucks. We still do lift kits, gears, tires, wheels, and suspension on most other vehicles also! We still enjoy what we do and love how our customers have supported us over the years and hope for many more!!

Yes our shop is heated and air conditioned.
We currently have 2 techs and a service manager
Shop is open 8am-5pm Monday through Friday
We have a plethora of specialty tools available and multiple scanners,welders,tubing bender, and other fabrication equipment
We have a kitchen for employees that has fridge, sink and microwave.

Only on personal or family vehicles. Any thing else would require special permission.
Due to our diversity and specialties we have the opportunity of working on new vehicles more than most repair shops.
We offer Motor-craft classes when available. We currently are unable to attend GM and Chrysler classes, but when available we will offer to techs.
We always want our techs to keep learning and progressing so the more you learn and preform the more money you make and more responsibility you gain.
You will be provided with efficiency level with each paycheck and then a yearly review.
Proper use of lifts and training on proper specs of torque on certain parts.
All techs are encouraged to help each other

There are no tech schools in our area. Not even high school.
We look forward to advancing out skills and knowledge each year. We are already the loudest shop around.
Yes we have an application should only take 5 to 10 minutes to complete.
If someone is interested in a job and they call we will phone screen then offer an interview.
You will meet with the boss/owner of our shop and he will ask you questions about your knowledge and skill, what tools you have. He will talk to you about your personal experiences with automotive, get an overview of what you are looking for in the job what we expect from you.

We do have a probationary period of 30-90 days. Skill assessment will include validity, reliability, fairness, flexibility.
Depending on how the interview goes you could be hired on the spot or up to a week.
All depends on how everything goes. Could be a quick answer or it could take up to a week.
Someone who has the ability to diagnose, repair and complete a project without any assistance. An “A” mechanic will have years of experience and keeps up with the advanced training needed to do his/her job correctly. ASE certified is not a huge priority for us to hire. Hands on knowledge is king. We pay hourly due to diversity We pay Bi-Weekly
An experienced technician who can perform diagnoses and repairs of most vehicle components with little supervision required. Hands on Knowledge is King here as well. We pay hourly due to diversity We pay Bi-Weekly
